Dad had investments in a UK government product tax free over there - ATO hit him with a $25000 fine/penalty - he did not argue as some girl kept ringing him and mum got annoyed and just said pay it

I found out later that, as he had taxfile numbers here and in the Uk, it should not have happened anyway
