yes we reach another ATH, beating the XJT flat thru PM, cash overexposure before cash trickling into shares in the last week:
cash still at 59% PM down to 16% after some selling and non PM US and ASX shares now to 33.6%

a short but good week:
1) the dogs of the ASX 2024 made some money and are just down 26.73% against 27.9% last week
NHF now +22% since January...all the other bled to death and beyond
2) System RRG within the super: no buy or sell next week;
did well up 3.5% over the week but still below the XJT overall
and frog super was up too:

Total investment did well and paid the monthly credit card bill inc private health;
Gold was a star, USD fall hitting the overall results a bit as all my graphs are AUD

I just want to share a trade I closed last night in the US, all in USD:
So 22% profit after brokerage in 2 weeks..
That is crazy for something which was already breaking HH.

another ultra short but very good week:
1) Even our dogs of 2024 did well up2.5% at -24.4% since january start
For the frog SMSF:
2) System RRG did well up 1.69% with only 2 parcels out of 10 negative
and for the whole of super, up 1.11% nearly back to its initial start in February
Super down to 27% cash
I will post again on Saturday to check the whole of investment after the US sessions and to take crypto and PM into account but we should again breach our ATH

Just because I have the time with soaked paddocks stranding me at home, i will close my week today and forget tonight session:
Total investment did well since last week
Up a nice 0.6% with over 56% cash.
The PM shares increasing again in line with the gold price even after a few sales of paper gold now back to 19.1%
In wait for the next financial drama
The RRG system will sell one loser and get one reentry on monday

weird day today, and surprisingly a bad one, so so gold/PM: fair but my shares ended losing too some heavy losses on energy (coal oil uranium), some up and some down on miners not enough to end up positive
And forgot the reason of the post:
on monday RRG sold NGI after 13.8% loss and bought NVA

The dog of the asx 2024 had a stellar week:
went from -24.2% to -19.4%...I do not know you but for me it says a lot about that bout of optimism....
just me...
Good week for the total investment but nowhere near as well as the market as got hit by PM fall and the USD fall vs the AUD
up only0.1% overall, 55.8% cash, PM at 18.3%;
I succeeded only partly with my paper gold/silver sell earlier this week and 2 big packets sell failed..I paid dearly..
allocations remaining mostly unchanged:
RRG system was disappointing, up but nowhere near XJT:
To put this into context:
the whole super (inc system)
did well as well but more mildly and now the XJT is nearly catching up:
anyway a good week and another ATH

Yesterday was a bloodbath for me, yet today did more than recover and a healthy win overall on the back of Gold.
On monday, the RRG system sold its parcels of WGX and MGX (after a roughly 10% loss) to purchase BOE and SBM

another great week: I will finalise the figures tomorrow after the US market but:
The dogs of the asx 2024 did a little bit of recovery last week up to -18.5% since 8/01 ..still a severe loss and only NHF green
For the Frog super, another good week:
RRG system is up 2.6% this week beating the XJT
And the overall super quite good as well;
Overall super is now just 23% cash and was up 1.2% to reach another ATH.

EOW and new ATH for the whole:
beating XJT even after living expenses taken out inc a new shed and 2 O/S trips.
Moreover a few nice dividends pending and not included above even if the respective SP were hit.

On the move this weekend trying to get some dry weather..very unsuccessfully.
But from my email reports, i have had one of my worst day yesterday.
Unusual as previous days of gold fall still ended positive, yet yesterday was very very bad.. to see the whole loss reversed today.
So i expect a smallish positive week overall.
Will confirm on Sunday night

OK back at base: not a good week as affected by PM fall:
The 2024 dogs of ASX paper trade:
the dogs did well up nearly 2% and now "only" down 16.2 % since creation
Our RRG system did very bad last week with only one parcel higher last friday than last week!!!!:
not very impressed:
Luckily the whole super caught up some of the slack and ended up 1.82% but not enough to end up caught up by XJT:
Summary:
After the fall in PM and a credit card paid, the frog investments lost 0.4% last week and ended below the XJT performance marginally (0.05%).

all others losing hard with PLS the worst at -40%

RRG system sold BOL and IXI on Monday both at loss and bought LTR and 360; LTR was a disaster as it fell just after purchase leading to a weekly loss of 0.22% for the system:
No buy or sell on Monday.

Yes a really good week for the whole investment with extra dividends credited and a decent run on gold/crypto
beating the XJT with a 4.7% return since end of july 24, including living costs and one off expenses.
Obviously hard to compare as we bought a new shed, some travel overseas but I keep that part here more as my journal
All good.
