LYC - Lynas Rare Earths

Yep ..... every time it looks like taking in some oxygen, it gets another spurt on .... nearly back to the $13.20 already after a very brief rest.
This may sound cwazee. But i'm looking to add if it stays above $13.15 towards the close. The American cousins look as if they may be on to it.

It is starting to look toppy now I would agree. I definitely won't be adding unless it giddy ups to above $13.15 with a bit more volume. I'm in for the long haul so we shall see ass the actress said to the bishop.

Pity we dont have crystal balls Garps. ... we would have all topped up at $12.96 during the day.

I don't hold LYC but the flow on effect to my minnows like PRS further down the track is compelling. :bookworm:

Another strong finish to the day.

Closing Volume is UP?

Did One Broker say "Buy more than you Sell " or
was it Two Brokers who said "Buy more than you Sell" ?

Crikey! Have a look at the calibre of a PM we voted in
We are all now regarded as Teen-Age Socialist Left University Political Drongos who have been frozen in time
What Disgrace of a Vote for PM we just had !

The Fact is Ace that Your MM advised you they were SELLING earlier this week inferring
" You can't go Broke Taking a Profit "

That is what SOME ( Not All) Self Interested Parties say when they move their clients interests into their Preferred Holders

It's Just Business !
Call it the measure of a Successful Brokerage Firm if you wish

FWIW: I only watch Volume to Judge whether It suits my Pockets
Is there enough LIQUIDITY
ie: Can I Buy enough in One Order OR
Do I have to Accumulate over a short amount of time

It's as Simple as That!

Salute and Stay Well

Well done to those who stuck with this one,
you are reaping the deserved rewards this year.

SPP provides eligible shareholders in Australia and New Zealand with an opportunity to subscribe for up to $30,000 of Lynas shares without incurring brokerage or other transaction costs. Lynas’ current intention is to cap the amount raised under the SPP at $75 million and Lynas may, in its absolute discretion, scale-back applications over that amount (or any higher cap Lynas applies in its absolute discretion). The SPP will close at 5.00pm (AEST) on 19 September 2025.

The SPP supplements the $750 million institutional placement.

Priced at A$13.25 per new share ... LYC now $14.80, so participation could be enthusiastic .

Good luck

I applied for $30,000.00 in the SPP for LYC in my SMSF but don't hold out much hopes that I'll get them all. In the hands of the gods.

I wonder whether Gina's fragrant daughters have applied for their $30,000.00 worth each. Along with Gina, who herself is fragrant, that is a total of $90,000.00. I used always say to Daniel Daniels when he was Premier, don't worry about learning the lingo, it is money that talks. Sorry a bit off topic there.

Getting back to the fragrant Reinharts, I don't care how rich you are $90,000.00 between the 3 of them will leave less for the essentials, Lotto, milk, apple cream turnovers and the Friday night meat tray draw at the bowls club not to mention the bottle-o.

maybe, maybe not

Gina Rinehart*, through her company Hancock Prospecting, holds an 8.21% stake in Lynas Rare Earths Ltd. as of January 2025, and is a significant shareholder. She has been gradually increasing her interest, with earlier significant purchases reported in April 2024 (5.83%) and July 2024 (7.14%).

as a significant holder, she would have to instruct, and pay, her bookkeeper to issue a Change of Holding notification to the ASX.

That would cost more than any perceived upside ? Lotto has more upside

*note spelling

Isn't there something about significant holders not required to notify changes unless, or, until it's 1 or 2 % higher/ lower holding than last notified?
I've never read the rule myself, but seem to remember someone stating something in this vein on the forum
