The world's hackers are working their little butts off looking for an "Open Backdoor"....
Looks like the original "Cloud Strike" failure will be resolved sooner rather than later...
But remember that the Bad Guys are looking for any loophole, so other problems may follow...
B Careful...

My other 2 wifi connections have been temporarily disconnected...
Bro chill I thought if you were going hardcore and off the grid it would be everything.
"At this stage, Australian authorities believe the outage is linked to the cyber security firm CrowdStrike and is not the result of a cyber attack"

That has been obvious for some hours now...
The unknown prob may be hackers now that the Crowd Strike Security is down...

From my reading of it the culprit in the Crowdstrike update for Microsoft began affecting Sydney finance and retail this morning first and then spread throughout the world as the day broke and work began.

It is said that the update has been removed and that all is fixed.

Is anyone still experiencing problems?

Mayhem in international travel in the Uk, Europe and also in domestic USA today.

Didn't notice any impact on me. Transacted as normal, scheduled payment of a bill, got some small items from supermarket and used the digital wallet thing. A couple of screens had the Blue Screen of Death but others didn't.

However, I did notice the usual human reaction by some of their world as they know it coming to an end.

Commsec seems to be working in the areas i use it most

and my main bank ( not the CBA ) has banners with assurances and explanations but seems to be operating as usual

( but neither should be under unusual pressure , today )
