Brilliant YouTube videos

If you haven't seen this, the whole thing must be available somewhere. But it's a great doco on a small tribe of Australian druggies - in this case meth heads. It's a whole different way of life and seemingly fearless - definitely living for the moment and somehow more real than a normal cautious sacrifice-the-present-for-a-secure-future existence. It's quality is more due to its protagonists than the earnest film-maker. I don't mean to romanticise it, the danger, health consequences, poverty and trajectory are horrific, but I kind of admire them.

Found the full download of The Ice Age for anyone interested. Made memorable viewing in my case. Have to jump via the link to YouTube to watch.

Something that niggles at me that I've never quite got!

Weird how people's (or AI's) mistakes often lead to some kind of greater awareness. In this case I'm referring to how the subtitles said "prison" but I'm almost certain the gent said "prism" at 1:19. When I look it up the etymology of the two words is not very close, but I expect there's still a relationship there.

Can Helen Coughlan fool Penn and Teller 6 times ?

Watch from 10 minutes.

This story blew my mind. So much depth and detail.

The worlds largest Miniature World. How big is it ? How complex ? How clever ? Give it 2 minutes you will be hooked.
Truly amazing for your next trip to Hamburg.
