We still watch UK murder mystery shows, Quiz shows etc.I listen to the health report, and watch a few of the items on it e.g. Insiders.
It's out national broadcaster and important imo. Cousins watch the Rural reports. Especially important in the country and bush. Destroy it and you lose my vote. I am sure I am not the only one. Australian Reporters in location overseas with much more detailed information, e,g, Foreign Correspondent.
Seriously isn't as biased as you think. If you watch it more you would realise that. Always under attack by Newscorp though, just like the BBC in the UK. I don't want all my news being controlled by billionaires, especially based in a foreign power.
Young people don't watch TV.We still watch UK murder mystery shows, Quiz shows etc.
Like I said, it is dying a natural death.

Less than 8pc of the ABC’s flagship news viewers are under 40
And more than 70 per cent of the audience for Insiders and Q&A are over 55, leaked data shows. The broadcaster has been scrambling to pursue younger audiences.www.afr.com
More than 80 per cent of the broadcast viewers for the ABC's marquee news program, the 7pm bulletin, are over 55 years old – with a staggering two-thirds of viewers older than 65, internal data circulated to managers shows.16 July
We know that, but the ABC doesn't want to admit it and keeps trying to appeal to a younger audience, which is why they are out of touch.Young people don't watch TV.
True and all ABC social media channels carefully prevent or restrict comments so their real social media impact is just guesswareYoung people don't watch TV.
Absolutely, I have been censored out for very mild but non woke comments.True and all ABC social media channels carefully prevent or restrict comments so their real social media impact is just guessware
They keep targetting the young nose rings, blue haired lesbian trans and coloured skins, none of them actually watching their shows. We know that, but the ABC doesn't want to admit it and keeps trying to appeal to a younger audience, which is why they are out of touch.
Simplistic. The young for instance are more likely to be monarchists. They keep targetting the young nose rings, blue haired lesbian trans and coloured skins, none of them actually watching their shows.
If they were not so politically biased AND paid by our taxes, i would have no issue.
But forcing 100% of taxpayers to pay for it is dictatorship.
Even worse when you consider actual majority taxpayers are never on the left side.
Before outraged cries: we are in a roughly 50/50 balanced right vs left as electorate, but younger ,non tax paying ,and welfare recipients are heavily balanced left so yes, people paying taxes do not vote left.
Note the "Canada the brave" vote did not really do the Trump damage the left expected so unsure how it will affect here.
ABC has not yet blamed the Spanish blackout on CC, still waiting..that blackout news should be printed on the voting place entrance cardboard signs for our own sake.
The news ALL of them including your favourite Pravda , at the time of my post were reporting "unusual weather event" cause coming from the Portuguese energy provider.Simplistic. The young for instance are more likely to be monarchists.
Maybe you should look at your news sources. The ABC reports directly from the sources and doesn't make agenda guesses.

Both Sky and ABC are not blaming it on what you say. The jury is still out.
It's always amused me that the people in this site that hate the ABC the most are from Canada, UK and France. The news ALL of them including your favourite Pravda , at the time of my post were reporting "unusual weather event" cause coming from the Portuguese energy provider.
That release has now been claimed as false by that provider, so yes jury is out but i am sure it has nothing to do with net zero..Putin or climate change, or maybe a far right hacker?
As for your "

you are living genuinely living in a parallel world
Yes,you probably do mean all the socialist caliphate paradises these countries are now? It's always amused me that the people in this site that hate the ABC the most are from Canada, UK and France.
I think that says something.
Back to our own crap, ALP or LNP...Yes,you probably do mean all the socialist caliphate paradises these countries are now?
You need the experience of history, travel to know where this all leads.
But you know better no doubt
They also appear to be unhappy with the universe at the moment. Dunno whyIt's always amused me that the people in this site that hate the ABC the most are from Canada, UK and France.

I would be upset if Michael Sukkar loses his seat. He is one of the better thinkers and performers in the Coalition and you could say that his housing policy is clever and makes sense. I do find an historic loss very hard to believe. I reckon they might win a few seats in Melbourne. I still think the Libs could win.
Also I see One Nation is doing very well according to the poll. 9.3% of the vote! Surely most of their preferences will go to the Coalition.
Poll predicts historic Coalition defeat
By Brittany Busch (the Age)
The Coalition will suffer its worst election result in 80 years if YouGov’s final poll of the campaign bears out.
The research group has released its last projections for the 2025 election this morning, and it predicts Labor will govern with a “clear majority”.
“YouGov’s modelling points to an 84-seat win for the government, out of 150 lower house seats,” the pollster said in a statement. A party needs 76 seats to form a majority government.

“The most likely outcome for the Coalition sees it reduced to 47 seats – its lowest percentage of seats in the federal parliament since 1946,” the statement said.
YouGov said all sitting independents were projected to retain their seats. Independents are also tipped to pick up the seats of Bradfield, Calare, Cowper, Monash and Wannon, which the Coalition won in the last election (Calare and Monash were won by Liberals in 2022 who are running as independents at this election).
According to the poll, prominent Liberal MPs expected to lose their seats included shadow ministers Dan Tehan, David Coleman and Michael Sukkar.
YouGov said its projections were modelled from 35,185 interviews with Australians between April 1 and 29 this year. A statistical technique that combined survey data with electorate-level information from the census and other government agencies was used to predict the election results.
