I really don't think Trump has had any effect on the election, unfortunately poor old Pete just doesn't have it, persona, presentation or plan.Witt Trump win Labor the election ?
They are a bit disorganised this time.I really don't think Trump has had any effect on the election, unfortunately poor old Pete just doesn't have it, persona, presentation or plan.
Unfortunately he is unelectable, t's just the way it is, elections have become a bit of personality game and even though Albo is lacking in a lot of ways, he is in the right place at the right time when the opposition talent pool is empty.
A bit of a Steven Bradbury election, hard to believe he would win, but the opposition fell in a heap.
Well that's my two cents worth, roll on 2028, when hopefully we have a more entertaining spectacle.
The Coalition has not given me anything I can vote for.I really don't think Trump has had any effect on the election, unfortunately poor old Pete just doesn't have it, persona, presentation or plan.

Mr @SirRumpole :The Coalition has not given me anything I can vote for.
Interest rates down (i would prefer otherwise, but its good for most people), unemployment low, inflation low, wages up.
Compared to what from the Coalition?
From a purely mercenary position:The Coalition has not given me anything I can vote for.

Yep, clever optics.Mr @SirRumpole :
Unemployment low only with incredibly high PS hiring - So debt based ...
Equivalent of work for the dole under another name.
Inflation low .. in which world?
The one where power cost is falling..after subsidies?
As for wages up, just look at the actual financial position of australians, 10,y in a row falling.
You are lucky if you are not in that crowd
I do not say the LNP was better but seriously, ALP economics are abysmal
The trouble with Australia in a nutshell :From a purely mercenary position:
With Labor I get a tax cut. My kids get their Uni debt cut. The beer tax stops rising every year. Cheaper doctors bills.
With the Libs all I get is cheaper petrol for one year. Earn too much for their one year tax offset.
My boss has a Tesla so he gets nothing except maybe losing his fringe tax benefit.
Not saying that is how you should choose.
Did you see the Liberal budget estimates? The Coalition are unelectable, Labor will get elected because the coalition is unelectable and someone has to be elected, sad situation.
They are both appalling IMO. Lol
Yea but see my post. Libs promise more debt and higher taxes! WTF!!!The trouble with Australia in a nutshell :
I, I , I
You get a tax cut , your cleaner pay your kids HECS, the debt increases like mad and your grandchildren are bankrupt before being born...
But if you get $100....
As for any business, who cares if they die, they are all bloody rich bastards
Lucky you get a tax cut.
That country deserves what it gets, even after 10y of economic collapse, they ask for more.
So true. The trouble with Australia in a nutshell :

Haha. Coles and Woolies you mean? Competition I don't think so.Why do we need to be bribed with a few shekels from the pork barrel... FFS just cut spending and let the free market do its thing
I agree with you but when I try to discuss life along these lines with the next generation they disagree with me.So true.
Our generation, with very few exceptions act in their own short term interests rather than considering their children and grandchildren.
What the hell do we boomers/Xers need apart from what we have? Mostly we have our house, some investments, and the ability to live a comfortable life, way out once in a while at the sh7tty local pub, perhaps even pass on some inheritance, to the ungrateful sods.
