****ASF Breaking News****

I went for a run out to Wickepin on the weekend, there are a hell of a lot sheep in the paddocks, it could end up very ugly. It wasn't that long ago farmers were having to shoot them in the paddock, because they couldn't sell them and couldn't feed them.
The road to hell is littered with good intent.
Been there and done that when we into sheep some years ago. during the wool crisis

serious news sites
I share your skepticism about Putin until we can verify it.... but seriously there's no such thing anymore as a serious news site, not in the legacy media. All are propaganda arms one or another ideology.

Putin kicking the bucket wouldn't make one iota of a difference anyway, as there is a queue of despotic narcissists waiting in the wings...

Pretty much like most countries on the planet.

Bruce Lehrmann of Britney Higgins fame has been named as a suspect in a rape case in Toowoomba the ABC reports.

This revelation comes after laws in Qld have been changed to allow the naming of rape suspects.

Wow !! This is going to take some digesting. It was known that Bruce Lehrmann had at least two previous accusations of sexual misconduct before the Britney Higgins saga. One can see why he didn't want this to come out.

It will all get very interesting if the accusations of rape were laid after the Brittany Higgins case, firstly he would have to be mentally retarded, secondly it would be very helpful in the defamation case.
If the accusation of rape was reported before the Brittany Higgins incident, that would certainly put a different light on her case, that is the great thing about trail by court rather than trail by media.

It is going to be a very interesting case.
@basilio where does it say that there was two previous complaints laid before the the Higgins saga? Or were the accusations made after the Higgins saga?
This is where people can cause confusion, one of the women claim it happened in 2016, but did she make a formal complaint to anyone in 2016? Or was the complaint made after the Higgins incident.
Hopefully Dowling doesn't end up in trouble again, but good on him for putting it out there.

Violent riots erupt after three schoolchildren stabbed in Dublin

Violent riots have erupted in Dublin after unconfirmed reports that a foreign national was responsible for a random stabbing attack on three children on Thursday that left a five-year-old girl fighting for life.

Protesters torched multiple vehicles, looted stores and clashed with police near the site of the attack on Thursday night. Footage also appeared to show a hotel, which according to unconfirmed reports was housing migrants, being set ablaze by protesters.

Irish media and eyewitnesses reported that a man armed with a knife had stabbed the victims outside the primary school shortly after 1.30pm (12.30am AEDT).

The five-year-old girl was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after reportedly being stabbed in the neck. Four other people — a five-year-old boy, a six-year-old girl, a female adult victim in her 30s and the suspected attacker in his 50s — were also taken to hospital.

The female victim, reportedly a creche worker caring for the children, has been hailed as a hero after she stepped in to stop the attacker, suffering serious stab injuries to her body.

“This all happened in a matter of seconds and after her very brave actions another two children suffered superficial stabbing injuries to their chest and shoulder in what was a frenzied incident,” a source told the Belfast Telegraph.

“She defended those children with all her strength — all that she was doing was trying to protect those little kids and people in what is a very built up area in the city centre saw what was happening when they passed the school.”

“Five casualties have been taken to various hospitals in the Dublin region,” the statement said.

“The casualties include an adult male, an adult female and three young children.”

Mr Geraghty later told media that “a young girl aged five years has sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving emergency medical treatment”.

The five-year-old boy and six-year-old girl sustained less serious wounds and the boy has since been discharged, he added.

The woman was being treated for serious injuries in hospital, while the man was a “person of interest” for police, revealed Mr Geraghty.

He would not disclose the nature of the injuries the man sustained.

A source told the Belfast Telegraph the man was “taken down after he was hit with a motorcycle helmet in the face”.

Witness Siobhan Kearney said the scene was “absolutely bedlam” as she initially watched events unfold from the other side of the street.

“Without thinking, I just took across the road to help out,” she told Irish national broadcaster RTE.

“We got another young man, disarmed him [the attacker] with the knife, another man took the knife and put it away for the [police] to find it.”

Ms Kearney added a group of people restrained the suspect on the ground, as some of those injured were taken back inside the school.

Intersting to know the nationality of the scum bag attacker. Pity the hit in the face with the helmet wasn't with something more severe.
