Hastie is a sock puppet for Tony Abbott... good luck with that sheet.
They need business and 'incentive to get ahead' minded policy. Slash some of the stupid red tape thats costing everyone a fortune.
All they have to do is give people the ability to get ahead. Forget the culture war stuff. They can secretly legislate the woke cr4p out as they go.

I think he's got more chance of keeping Labor honest than Susan Ley.
And I also like someone who speaks his mind instead of the politically correct guff most other pollies go on with.

I may or may not vote for him, but I'd like to know where he stands and if he has the guts to say so.

Agreed, but they won't be able to secretly do that, as the others will be all over it like a rash, aided and abetted by the legacy media. Their minions are highly organised and their propaganda well developed and implanted in the institutions, particularly the universities and bureaucracy.

Notwithstanding that they have overplayed their hand, it will take some ballsy effort to counter it. ASF is a microcosm, but emblematic of the task at hand.

The left need the light shone over their failures. Victoria is the perfect example.

I'm seeing more and more evidence that the tide has turned on that one.

Not based on any one occurrence but there's been quite a few moments recently, things that have occurred, that have lead me to that conclusion.

More recently that extends to people connected to the political parties, I definitely perceive a shift underway and quite a marked one. :2twocents

My other social media presences are international in their scope and agree on that level.

Here in Aus I am struggling to see that in substantive numbers, primarily because of a lack of *effective opposition, in politik, in media, and charismatic activism. We are at least five years behind in that regard.

My perspective comes from first hand observations in addition to the media.

Behind the scenes, there's a definite shift in thinking. People saying things out loud that nobody would dared have mentioned not too long ago. :2twocents
