Obviously the narrative from the media, wasn't the way Ukraine saw it.I think Biden is just trying to give Ukraine a fighting chance before Trump takes over and possibly hands Ukraine over to Putin.

Zelensky admits only Trump can stop war in Ukraine

Volodymyr Zelensky has admitted he believes only Donald Trump can end the war in Ukraine as he is 'feared' by Vladimir Putin.
The Ukrainian president claimed the lack of US presence in Europe had left the door open for Russia to prepare for an invasion and attack the country in 2022, following several 'weak, even treacherous agreements'.
He added the US was the only country that could now provide 'real security guarantees' for Ukraine and said he was 'confident that if President Trump wants to, he can force Putin into peace'.
Zelensky wrote on X on Wednesday: 'President Trump's recent rhetoric about Putin wasn't just tough—it was fair. And that's exactly the kind of Trump that Putin fears.
'A strong Trump means a strong America, and a strong America means a strong Ukraine with real security guarantees.'
He continued: 'I am confident that if President Trump wants to, he can force Putin into peace. If the U.S. applies pressure on Putin through the Global South—including China and India—President Trump can negotiate for them to do the same.'
Zelensky also took aim at former President Joe Biden, saying that America's absence in Europe was 'a mistake of the previous administration'.
He also claimed he had urged Biden to 'impose the strongest preventive sanctions' against Putin before his 'full-scale invasion', but was told the US would only act if they invaded - a move which Zelensky said was 'illogical'.
Well we will have to wait and see, but he certainly paid out on Biden.Ha, well he's not going to knock Trump now when he needs him so much.
Trump likes anyone who knocks his opponents.Well we will have to wait and see, but he certainly paid out on Biden.
Your bias runs deep skywalker.Trump likes anyone who knocks his opponents.
Zelenski has learned well.
Caution. Armchair geniuses at work. The munitions manufacturers in the U.S must be smarting from the lack of deliveries to Israel, they will be really peeved if the Ukraine issue is resolved.
You mean, another one, don't be modest.Caution. Armchair geniuses at work.
I think Trump is in a position of strength should he choose to use it. I am hoping he will take advantage.Looks like Trump is going to force Zelensky to give up territory to stop this. Not good for anyone except Russia, but the only way to stop it without a wider conflict perhaps. My thoughts at the start of this was Russia would just get to the Dnipro River and then negotiate to keep everything to the east of a line from Kherson to Kharkiv. Ukraine will not be happy, and Russia will think it can just attack any other weak countries on their periphery and get away with it. They should never have been able to take Crimea.
It will be interesting to see how the general public react.

It's about time the leaders of the "Free World" started to show some strength and not let this modern day Hitler get away with these kind of invasions.Manoeuvre to add pressure on Putin with current so called peace talks?
