mmmm....and when he finishes the sheet music and starts playing some jazz, do you think the sheet music can tell you anything about what he is playing now!!??

I think not.
I once heard a jazz musician say, he had practised it until he got it right!

You can play without sheet music (i.e. trade without patterns).
I can too!
In fact, I have to play by ear, because I cannot read sheet music!

I've been saying that for four years now.
Meanwhile, I don't deny the existence of T/A and patterns.

Patterns exist in all sorts of places you might not expect.

A daily chart with 12 day moving average of the output of the solar panels on my roof shows a double top last summer followed by a sharp fall. And the same happened this winter with a double bottom followed by a sharp rise. Other patterns are visible at times too.

I've seen stock-like patterns pop up elsewhere as well. Water storage levels are one example where I've seen it.

Where it gets tricky is that the chart says the water level ought to continue to drop. Fundamental knowledge of seasonal weather patterns says it should rise. Fundamentals usually win out eventually.
