New Index additions?

What's the best way to monitor for new additions to an Aussie index?
I've always just looked up index 'rebalancing' and downloaded the list on the ASX.

I just thought here may be a better way of doing this?

normally the rebalances are announced through ASX announcements ) the big changes 3 monthly , but there will be special anns for say the COL demerger , or when APT take-over completes
