What is the difference? Not the bs webIRESS but netIRESS. Anyone?
netIRESS is a standalone desktop version of IRESS but without requiring a server and it has way better functionality than webIRESS.
I've been trialling it some time ago - $1200 a month. Couldn't justify the price difference and stuck with a combination of webIRESS for day trading and Market Analyser Professional for charting and scanning the markets GLOABALLY! Talk about bang for buck.I think it costs upwards of 1000... for a bit more functionality. Not sure about the exact difference. But I think the depth for example shows more than the last 20 trades and there is a scanner, etc...
The broker was AOT Online. Very good as long as they were independent. But Commsec bought them out. Not long after that, I "discovered" Paritrade. Comparing software and multi-trading conditions made the switch a no-brainer.Yea I have looked at paritrade as well, but I will wait till they release their new version of pulse before I have a closer look.
Pixel, can I just ask which broker were you trailing IRESS with prior to using paritrade?

Last year, I switched from Iress to PULSE+MarketScan from http://www.paritech.com.au/
Most of the features you list are available in Pulse - at a fraction of the cost. The broker PariTrade is in the same stable. Ask Joe for a free trial and check it out.
