Good day trading broker that offers netIRESS?

netIRESS is a standalone desktop version of IRESS but without requiring a server and it has way better functionality than webIRESS.

What does it give you? What is the monthly cost?

I think it costs upwards of 1000... for a bit more functionality. Not sure about the exact difference. But I think the depth for example shows more than the last 20 trades and there is a scanner, etc...

I've been trialling it some time ago - $1200 a month. Couldn't justify the price difference and stuck with a combination of webIRESS for day trading and Market Analyser Professional for charting and scanning the markets GLOABALLY! Talk about bang for buck.

Last year, I switched from Iress to PULSE+MarketScan from http://www.paritech.com.au/
Most of the features you list are available in Pulse - at a fraction of the cost. The broker PariTrade is in the same stable. Ask Joe for a free trial and check it out.

netIRESS's order execution is very good. Otherwise it's like an aus only version of Bloomberg.
Its tailored more towards instos and ppl who worry about latency etc.

Yea I have looked at paritrade as well, but I will wait till they release their new version of pulse before I have a closer look.

Pixel, can I just ask which broker were you trailing IRESS with prior to using paritrade?

The broker was AOT Online. Very good as long as they were independent. But Commsec bought them out. Not long after that, I "discovered" Paritrade. Comparing software and multi-trading conditions made the switch a no-brainer.

icic, yea paritrade sounds quite good. Might explore that route in the future.

At nearly $200 a month............are you kidding me?
