I suspect that like other countries, the Oz crickets managers dpn't see much future in the 50 over format.

Probably true, but as a warmup for Tests they could be useful.

If Labushachgne, Head , Green et al could make solid but unspectacular 50's at least they could get some confidence for the longer games.

As it is now, they have shown themselves to be all at sea.

Lambshanks has managed a century in the seasons first ODI win against Victoria for Queenland.
Maxwell also scored a century, but did not get much support.
Meanwhile, in India, the Indian women's team handed the Australian women's team their biggest ever loss in ODI's (yawn) after going down by 102 runs.
Sam Kostas mad a century in a session in the Australia A versus India A game in lucknow, along with an even faster century from Josh Philipe, after 80's from campbe;ll kellaway and Liam Scott, along with a composed 70 from Cooper Connolly.
Oliver Peake and Nathan Mcsweeney both failed.
The Indians in reply to Oz 6/532 declared are 1/116 in response.
Must be a pretty easy Indian wicket.

Good to see Marnus getting some runs. I was getting worried about him.
