Haven't seen those for years in my area. But apart from ALDI, there is always the local green grocer, butcher,
Where do you live? The Simpson Desert?Haven't seen those for years in my area.
No , a regional area in NSW.Where do you live? The Simpson Desert?
Hmm, even in the two low socioeconomic s4itholes that we live near and therefore shop at due to proximity, have at least a greengrocer, butcher, chicken shop etc.No , a regional area in NSW.
Maybe I just haven't been looking. There was a butcher next door to Coles but that is gone, where to I don't know.
There used to be farmer's markets in town every so often but these seem to have gone as well.
A Google search reveals a limited number of such establishments.

What is the population of your regional town?
This is the problem.I do not say the LNP was better but seriously, ALP economics are abysmal
Fully agree but as we both understand, hard to put a "love emoticon" on such statement, we should have a " cry in support"This is the problem.
We're choosing between bad and worse, neither side could in any way be described as good.
Even the mainstream commercial media are openly admitting that at this point.
Keeping it current, keeps it off the table. Lol@joeblow, is there an emoji for "Wind Up" ?
@SirRumpole Even one of our local servos has a deli type section which is great for an emergency when things have run out.Haven't seen those for years in my area.
Let's see how it turns out, but yes, the Coalition run a pathetic campaign. No big ideas apart from nuclear power which is too expensive for us. All doom and gloom and negativity from them without a spark of optimism. From nation first so real right
But imho, a lot of truth there
How the Liberals could have won.
Nation First explores what a winning agenda from the Liberals would have looked like.nationfirst.substack.com
I would agree by saying better the lesser devil you know LNP..Let's see how it turns out, but yes, the Coalition run a pathetic campaign. No big ideas apart from nuclear power which is too expensive for us. All doom and gloom and negativity from them without a spark of optimism.
Labor haven't been great, but better the devil you know imo.
Well, one party cut taxes, the other voted against it.I would agree by saying better the lesser devil you know LNP..
Australia imho was ready for a non migration, cut waste Ndis etc and a bit more of nation building exercises, less taxation..and LNP was at war being trying not to offend the TDS , Musk haters and purple hair trans, who will never vote for them anyway ...
What i know is the average Australian has never paid so much taxes as now.Well, one party cut taxes, the other voted against it.

I always go in the afternoon. No queue.Off to vote at 8am before the soccer mums and dads arrive.
No Democracy sausage at that hour, too bad.
Taxes under the last Coalition were the highest ever. Heaps of bracket creep but all used to get "back in black" which never happened. What i know is the average Australian has never paid so much taxes as now.
I highly recommend left inclined people to follow the last 20y of that heaven on earth Sweden model, and now seriously wonder..who has the best life now?
And do we want to follow the Swedish model?
I did not want to make it too obvious by choosing France or the UK as model..let go for the role model of socialism
Your answer tells it all...Taxes under the last Coalition were the highest ever. Heaps of bracket creep but all used to get "back in black" which never happened.
They had a tax rebate for low income workers which was never permanent but nothing for me. And they promise in the next 3 years to do the same! Why would I vote for them? At least Labor are giving me a permanent shtty little tax cut.
There was a poll and it showed that the Libs are now considered the higher taxing party over Labor. That should be a wake up call for next election.
