August 2025 Stock Competition Entries!

The entry price is the closing price on the last trading day of the previous month. According to TradingView the BML closing price on 31 July was $0.165, making this price the entry price for the August competition. Does this accord with your information?

There does seem to be a missing decimal point in the screenshot in the first post but this has since been corrected.

Ah, yes, my apologies, brain fart on my end - I was looking at month's opening prices for some strange reason - thanks for reminding me. Cheers!

Just had a quick look at the comp table not much joy with it at this stage with only 6 in green.

Again, the usual suspects race ahead. There should be some method of weighting these aristocrats so that the rest of us can have a reasonable chance of getting in to the first 3. They are undoubtably better stock pickers than us average punters.

My analogy in last month, re why one might be above others on the same % value, possibly is actually based on the oil and water theory.

IVR, my entry, has been above the 0% mark today, so floated higher.
After dropping back to 0%, I find it above you again. Sorry about that.
Just went to get a screenshot to provide an example, but it seems I've been washed green.
So the time is in the screenshot, it was results as at 2pm, which I think updated at 3:10, whilst I was typing, or finger mashing...

Indeed. A fall from above goes topmost and a rise from the bottom, below. My picks for some reason at the beginning of the month often spend some time at 0 and the constant flow of refugees from former aristocrats and recently washed upsets my couth.
