Just get rid of the blocks you guys.
If you don't like what some people write, just ignore them.
There are a few posters on here that I just don't bother to read when I see them posting.
It helps with context sometimes if you do need to go back and read their post, but mostly you lose nothing.

skip over the threads of low current interest as well ( you can always return later )

The functionality is broken but it's all we have at the moment until something better comes along. My advice would be to take the person off ignore.

I periodically check for a new plugin with ignore functionality but nothing suitable has yet come onto my radar. I will check again today.

Breathlessly - a 'workaround'. Why not simply allow duplicate stock threads? Not ideal but I don't see the big problem, people can find, check out and post on either or both threads without conflict.

Let me look into what can be done over the weekend and I will see if a workaround is worth pursuing.

Scouring through duplicate stock threads would waste my most precious or resources. Critical thinking you ask?

@Joe Blow if just leaving stock thread duplicates isn't a good solution I don't want to hassle you. I can live with the current situation.
