Amibroker, Norgate Premium Data Backtesting Question

Finally took the plunge and invested in a copy of Amibroker and a subscription to Norgates Premium Data

I Apologise in advance if my terminology is incorrect.

When BackTesting the default is "Apply to *All symbols" I have noticed that indexs like the ASX100, ASX200 etc all appear as symbols. Does that mean the Default is actually trading on indexes as well regular stocks and as a result trashing my results?

Whats the best way to ensure my backtesting is run against all stocks listed on the ASX only?

Thanks for confirming my suspicions Boggo.

All sorted now, I downloaded a full list of stocks from the ASX website tweaked the format and created my own watchlist.

Now my results true suck lol.




Buy = C<500 and ...

Let me guess the rest of the AFL is only $999 lol
