I had a good weekend tipping in the AFL. 8/9 with one game to go on Wednesday.
Dockers just capped a great weekend even though it was cold and wet most of yesterday.

Hands up everyone who thought Freo would come over to Marvel and beat the Bulldogs!

Well coached by Freo is what I hear. Pressure on the Doggies coach now.

Save for a miracle on Wednesday night, the Bulldogs will finish 9th.

@Logique2 Well, me being a Freo fan, I tipped them, as I have done all season.
Though I did have some doubts at quarter time, but then they decided to play footy for the rest of the game and shut Footscray out of the game.

I finished the round off with 9/10 but haven't checked my placing as yet.
Percentage wise nowhere near where you finished.

Thursday: Adelaide Vs Collingwood: Crows at home

Friday: Geelong Vs Lions: Cats at home

Saturday: GWS Vs Hawthorn: Giants at home

Saturday: Fremantle Vs Gold Coast: Dockers at home

@Logique2 I wonder if the AFL will allow Geelong to play at home as this is a pretty small ground

The Dockers v Gold Coast might be a hard grind as there is rain forecast during the morning and afternoon.
 
We watched the last half of the Adelaide and Collingwood game tonight.
She who knows next to zilch about the game observed that Adelaide seemed to want to lose the game as they had a few chances to make up the difference but just gave the ball away to the opposition.
Of course not being a great fan of any Victorian team, I would have preferred to see Adelaide win.
Nothing would make me happier than to see all of the other States teams be in the Finals and not have one Victorian team in there.
One day there will be a God and this will happen, in my lifetime I hope.

Indeed. I would like to see GWS and Gold Coast fight it out as nether has yet won the flag.

Reality bites though and I have to think Collingwood will probably get there again.

No, no, no Collingwood not ever, ever, always the bridesmaid.
 
GWS looked the goods into the 3rd quarter but sadly could not get the score on the board in the fourth.
Done and dusted for GWS until next season.
 
We watched the Dockers v Gold Coast this afternoon/evening.
Unhappy that the Dockers lost as a one-point win or lose is a hard one, well for the loosing side.
Luck up to a point was on both sides at various times during the game, but GC snatched that one point with a handful of seconds to go.

Very vocal pro-Geelong crowd at the MCG on Friday night, not sure how worried the Cats are about not being at Kardinia.
Tough way for the Dockers to lose on Saturday - one point.

2nd round:
-Hawks to beat Adelaide on Friday
-Suns to beat Brisbane in the Q-Clash on Saturday

Still getting over the Dockers loss. They should have played keep it off for that last 2 minutes
 
With only Brisbane left as the only non Vic team in the Finals run. I certainly hope that they can make it to the Grand Final.
Not a good look when all of the other States teams fall by the wayside.
The name of the game is to thrash the Vic teams and have only the other States in the Final
Not a great lover of the VFL oophs Vic AFL.
