I turned off from Rugby League about 20 years ago when AFL came to Sydney.

RL is boring by comparison. More emphasis on physical strength , less on skills compared to AFL.

Just my opinion, but I did watch the NRL Grand final last year which I enjoyed, as I did the Penrith v Brisbane game which was also good, although the wrong team won. Haha.

I guess it depends on what you grew up with. I found that rugby league game very exciting.

I also enjoy watching a good AFL game. The scrappy ones, like those in the wet, lose my interest.

I thought the AFL grand final was brilliant for the first two quarters, but I lost a bit of interest when the Lions started to run away with it.

A one sided game in the AFL is never interesting, only to the one eyed supporters of the club that is winning.

I probably miss the subtle aspects of the game. To me it looks very repetitive.

Because WA is an AFL State pretty well, and is what we played in the school days, it is the game that i like to watch these days.
Rugby 7's I enjoy, as it is fast and furious.
