Weren't they digging under Bendigo?
Most of the time hard to make a profit but with today's gold price probably doing OK.

Yep, but I think SeanK's post above (prior page) gave the state of play. They never got close to making any money and understated the difficulty. Basically lied to us is how I think back on it. Another dud investment by me when I was learning the ropes. 'Shares' magazine lied me too! I never back a loser these days <- jk

from memory they were having cyanide issues ... which i found problematic considering many gold miners use a cyanide leaching process

were they being screwed politically ?

this one ( when it was Unity ) was the only broker recommendation i followed but i DID do my own research before parting with my cash ( so can't whine too much about the broker )

however i did decide to 'average down' in the resulting disappointments that followed , and ended up with close to a one cent ( per share ) profit thanks to the capital return

a bullet dodged here

would be interested to hear/see if the 'cyanide problem ' disappeared with the new owner

Me too .
BDG . Ah , Memories !
I've been following this abomination off and on since before the internet ( ? ) It was definitely last century , anyway . Cleared out when the Insto's arrived . Did they do their dough , I wonder ? Don't ever put too much faith in those numb nuts .
