This broker UFXMarkets, is the most aggressive merchant I have ever met. They keep calling me like at least once per day, after a few days finally I surrendered to activate my account with $500 bucks, now the tutor is trying to persuade me enlarge the account so as to trade gold, which is a great chance hard to have in decades. I don't want to trade gold, I want to trade stocks or forex, I activated the account with hoping the tutor from the broker can teach me the basic knowledge of forex trading, but looks like they are not going to be helpful. Just to share the experience here...

Most of the stories seem to follow the same narrative. Customer opens an account, makes some money, then their account manager calls them and recommends losing trades. Customer loses money, then complains.
There also seems to be a lot of customers complaining about difficulties in withdrawing their funds.
All sounds very fishy to me. A broker to stay away from perhaps?

Any advise to strike back? I just failed to dispute with my bank, though I didn't sign the receipt. My bank let me ask UK consumer affairs for help, but just checked http://www.oft.gov.uk/, they not going to do anything with individuals...

The fine print in Bold would have been enough to scare me away!! ....... especially the cancellation of any profits

UFXMarkets is a trading name of Reliantco Investments Limited, a Cyprus Investment Firm authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities Exchange Commission (CySEC) with license number 127/10. Be advised that trading using high leverage can result in substantial loss or profit and may not be suitable for everyone. Clients may not make any withdrawals until the necessary trading volume is completed. For every $1,000 bonus received, the client must complete $15 million in trading volume in order to withdraw the bonus. Please note that until the required trading volume has been achieved, withdrawals of bonus funds, deposited funds or trading profit are not allowed. In case the client closes his account before completing the required trading volume, only the deposited funds will be returned and all profits and bonus will be canceled. Our Welcome Bonus is valid only for traders who have never deposited with UFXMarkets. The 30% Welcome Bonus is valid for deposits of $500 and above.
