Welp at least that bastion of woke leftism Q+A has been flushed. This coming not long after the rapturous news The Project was finally axed. (Feel free to replay "Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's 9th in your brain.) Don't get me wrong, I often watched Q+A because it sort of set the agenda, like Four Corners. But its death shall not be mourned.

Today being Thursday I was feeling somewhat euphoric today so bought a Powerball Slickpic.
Finished with 4 and the powerball.
Not the result I was hoping for but a finish that was much better than a lot of other hopefuls.
 
I have been going on and on and on about the price of gold on another thread being attached to $3333.33 as 3 is a lucky number for Chinese people whose leaders are buying gold to spite the Americans.

Today I took a bag of cans to the Recycle place and got $13.30 for my pile. I thought this was incredibly interesting considering the price of gold was stuck around $3333.33 until today and that I should share it with members of ASF. I also thought I should share it with some people at the recycle place. They were very busy there and did not seem all that interested in my sharing the story with them and wouldn't look at the screen of my phone when I got the "gold heading" thread up. They were more interested in getting me to move my car so someone else could reverse in to the spot I was taking up.

Some people eh.

Well gg some people just have no interest apart from what they are doing. In this case collecting empty drink containers.

@mullokintyre I most certainly feel lucky every day.
I start the day upright and breathing and the bonus is the shadow I cast if the sun is shining.
After 6 months of waiting and then recovery the bonus and why I feel lucky is because of a new lease on life that was given to me.
Just need clearance to start to toil again.
 
An acquaintance is in the retirement planning stage. Consulted life expectancy tables to get an idea of how long his money would last. It was pointed out people had to die in order for those tables to be constructed. Now stressing out which age group he will be in.

Life is good.
 
Life can be better than good because the opposite is not great.
 
I woke this morning and wanted to get up to speed on the latest on the Iran Israel conflict. So I searched news and clicked on the first link. this is what I got. Has the whole world gone mad?



I never did find out what happened. If anyone knows could they post or msg me please. I mean with the lady who fell in love with the Masai warrior in Kenya and had a baby on the Isle of Wight. I'm up to speed on the Iran Israel conflict. I also would like to know how she got from the mud hut in Kenya to the Isle of Wight.
