Spam on Skype

in the last week or so, I am starting to get spam messages on Skype. I've been a Skype user for about 6 months and it has just started now.

It comes through as some sort of message and usually has a link to a website. Very similar to e-mail spam.

Is anyone else seeing spam on Skype? Is it potentially dangerous even if you just ignore it?

try right clicking on the "user name" that is sending the message and select "block this person" - then no more messages from them but they will possibly have multiple user names - expect more nuisance stuff for a while
