qldfrog weekly Skate inspired system

Not a bad week;
Super hit another ATH, and might get a total portfolio ATH or near based on US market, will see tomorrow

1) The Dogs of ASX2024:
did very well with ILU jumping, etc and gained more than 7% for the second week in a row, the dogs are on steroids
Now only down 15.3% since january



2)System trading
RRG: flat just down 0.1% in line with the xjt




3) The whole of super reached another ATH up 0.3% on the week so good week and the part selling selling on Monday was beneficial; went from 14 to 18% cash


We will see tomorrow what happened to crypto, gold and the NYSE

Did not break my ATH on the overall portfolio, and as i drew back some funds for holidays ended up a tiny bit lower than last week
So overall investments

our RRG system is unchanged: no buy sell
Have all a fabulous week end
Weather is still great. Cattle fencing is progressing well and just built myself a nice workbench with metal cattle rail while improving my welding skills..

As RRG system owns JLG shares now purchased back, i will enter a new position for the system, sell the JLG at market asap or keep the $4 shares untill money is received ..
In any case, JLG is not active anymore so no point keeping this , successful, anchor in the active system
 
another great week:
The dogs of the asx 2024 were up 6.39% on the week down now only 11.7% overall, will they catchup and end in the green?


RRG system:
did very well up 4.49% on the week

we have one sell and one buy on Monday

The whole of super not bad at all, up 2.22% with cash down to 14.6%


We have to wait tomorrow after the US session but it seems we are going to smash our ATH with a bang especially as dividends are adding to the capital gain.

My apologies, wasn't my intention to be taken as an insult.
Meant purely as an acronym for AI.
Any dealings I've had with AI systems as a typical consumer have just been a waste of time. It's like they are delay systems until you can get a hooman who can actually action stuff and not ask repetitive repetitive repetitive questions repetitive loop.

Will be O/S from the end of next week end visiting our NZ cousins and so will not be updating much next week
I installed my system trading on an AWS server which I should be able to run and access remotely from wherever.
Getting some technical issues getting access via my smartphone but will try to sort that.I did it before but getting trouble with the latest protocols

We will have an earlier EOW for the status as I am flying tomorrow and will not be around for the next fortnight.
Today was blood in the portfolio, gold down, crypto down, my OS currency exposure down a few nice results on small miners but others bleeding to death;
So not good
total portfolio going from beating widely my ATH yesterday to being below last Friday tonight
anyway in details:

Loosers of yesterdays are winners this week:
up 3.7% or so and now only -8% from january start
*system RRG
Did well up 2.27% this week so far


The super did well:

and the overall investment was hit a bit

What are you doing in the options space? Don't think I remember you talking about them before.
 
Today, the RRG system was selling BOE and buying NVX on open
With BOE down 40%, the sell on open failed, i only saw that this afternoon driving in NZ and sold at market at $2 compounding an horrendous loss.
Just something to add to a crappy day where a tree fell across the road a few minutes ahead of us, noone hurt but road closed ,adding nearly a 3h extra drive reverse trip and detour with no visit but just a rush..well a NZ road and driver rush

No, we crossed from east side Paihia to west coast of nz northland (North of Auckland) then went south and 2km from our destination, road was blocked, drove back all the way to east side join the main northern road and down to Auckland
Not much to do with share trading sorry, but yes New zealand roads, and drivers...
People at nz transport should remember that 50km/h is bicycle down hill speed, not decent 4 wheels 2020 car with disc brakes but who am i to say.i am just a tourist after far too long a day being people at 50km/h on 80km/h zones
 
Lol. Every time I have been to NZ and try and see Milford Sound, the road is blocked or closed. I have seen it once I guess but that was on a boat. Have fun

Ok, back on Aussie ground, wet cold and sad today: I brought back the weather from NZ it seems..
A lot of administrative work once here, and now time to review the past 2 weeks;
First for the dogs of 2024:
flat on the last fortnight which is ..hum



My RRG system was a disaster:
one entry in BOE lost nearly 2k on a 50k initial total system..and I was even lucky selling at 2 before further falls
one entry in NVX lost 24% in a week, and Silex SLX gave the last push this week
The bad results on the week before last, completed a pathetic fortnight losing 10%

The current entries, bar SLX , are doing OK but nowhere near enough to counter these disasters.

The super paid the price of this system and lost its ATH status while the XJT flying


But I was surprised to see that ,even after too dear IMHO travel expenses, we reached a new ATH for the total savings

Mostly due to payments of dividends, interests at the end of the months and a one time term deposit windfall
But would I complain?
