Hi

My name is Arthur and I am a Phd student at RMIT University in Melbourne.
I am doing research into how share market investors gather and use information online.

I am currently looking for online investors to interview for my research project.
The interview would take approximately one hour (or less).
The questions are primarily around how you trade/invest and where you get information from and how you use it.
I do not ask about anything financial nor specific details of trading systems or specific companies.

I am able to do interviews over skype (audio only would be recorded).
If you are located in Melbourne, I can also do interviews in person in my office (CBD - Swanston St).

I would be immensely grateful if you could give your valuable time to help me out.

Please send me a private message or drop me an email at: online.investing@rmit.edu.au

cheers and thanks

G'Day Arthur;

What is your time frame? Meaning, over what period do you intend to conduct those interviews? And how many did you envisage?
What about people who don't have a Skype account? Any alternatives, maybe even good old steam phone?

Also, people might be more inclined to participate if you offered to share with them the results if/ when your thesis was published. I know it would persuade me much more easily.

This week, I'm rather short of time; but I might read your reply and get in touch by mid-April.

Sorry pixel for taking so long to respond.

I am hoping to do 10 or so interviews in the next 2 months.

Yes I can do an interview over plain telephone if preferred.

Happy to provide any participant a copy of my thesis when it is finished.

I have had one person respond so far so if anyone is able to help out it would be appreciated.

cheers

Arthur

Hopefully starting my phd next year.

So, very happy to help.
