Israel - Palestine

Not one of you bleeding hearts would want your government to relent in the war with Hamas if their foot soldiers had done to your wife or child or parent what those fiends did. Not seeing much said about that from what I could stomach reading. Either war or not war and Hamas have made clear what they will do if Israel goes 'not war'. If war then innocents will die, that's horribly inescapable. A moral army, which the palestinians have never had, will do its best to avoid civilian death. The Israelis forewarned of invasion and subsequently facilitated evacuation to the south. Can you imagine Hamas doing that? If war you try to win and remove the threat, like the U.S did in Japan. You don't stop halfway and wait for a bloodthirsty enemy to reorganise with the apparently unlimited funding this one gets from oil rich Arab states. Palestinians would be affluent now if their leaders and wealthy benefactors wanted peace. As it is just the leaders are mega wealthy. Gaza is a state totally structured for warfare. It's economy is war. So it's got war now.

I don't trust any of theirs either.

So, I've been perplexed over the support Hamas/Palastine had been getting over a number of othet more egregious conflicts in the middle east.

Was at a client today whose daughter is currently at Uni and very much pro Palastine. It turns out her whole view has been guided by having dinner a unit on the subject at said University.

Basically, western universities are indoctrinating anti-Zionism, Jew hatred and support for terrorism.

Just another result of the long march through the institutions

Good idea to look up USS Liberty. Want to see a bunch of suss moves then dig deep.
People tend to forget that a lot of the "conspiracy theories" are actually truth that are diluted by the governments propaganda.

That statement is a bit rich considering Gaza does not have a single plane, nor tank, not even a dinghy.

On the other hand, Israel has received the highest amount of military assistance from the US compared to any other nation since World War II, with aid exceeding $124bn.

It is the Israeli economy that is built on war. Gaza is just target practice.

Big Jewish population in the good 'ol US of A. and obviously has a fair bit of clout where it matters

Karma is a bitch.

Hasan Bitmez, 53, a member of parliament from the Islamist Saadet Partisi, or Felicity Party, died at the Ankara City Hospital, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca announced.

Bitmez collapsed at the lectern of the Turkish Grand National Assembly on Tuesday after speaking for some 20 minutes.

Legislators in the hall assisted Bitmez before he was rushed to the hospital in “extremely serious and critical” condition.

During his speech, he was seen holding a sign that read: “Murderer Israel, Collaborator AKP,” in reference to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s ruling Justice and Development Party.

Died! He obviously didn't see that coming.

Don't hold white flags in Gaza. No boundaries for the ADF.

Israeli military says mistakenly killed hostages were holding white flags

The three hostages killed mistakenly had been holding up a white flag when they were killed by Israeli forces, according to an initial inquiry into the incident, a military official said on Saturday.
A soldier saw the hostages emerging tens of meters from Israeli forces in the area of Shejaiya, the official said.

"They're all without shirts and they have a stick with a white cloth on it. The soldier feels threatened and opens fire. He declares that they're terrorists, they (forces) open fire, two are killed immediately," the military official said.

They said the third hostage was wounded and retreated into a nearby building where he called for help in Hebrew.

"Immediately the battalion commander issues a ceasefire order, but again there's another burst of fire towards the third figure and he also dies," the official said.

"This was against our rules of engagement."

The above incident is not an isolated accident.

Israeli military opens probe after videos show troops killing two Palestinians at close range

Israel on Friday said it was opening a military police investigation into the killing of two Palestinians in the West Bank after an Israeli human rights group posted videos that appeared to show Israeli troops killing the men — one who was incapacitated and the second unarmed — during a military raid in a West Bank refugee camp.

The B'Tselem human rights group accused the army of carrying out a pair of "illegal executions".

The security camera videos show two Israeli military vehicles pursuing a group of Palestinians in the Faraa refugee camp in the northern West Bank.

One man, who appears to be holding a red canister, is gunned down by soldiers. B'Tselem identified the man as 25-year-old Rami Jundob.

The military jeep then approaches Mr Jundob as he lies bleeding on the ground and fires multiple shots at him until he is still.

Soldiers then approach a man identified by B'Tselem as 36-year-old Thaar Shahin as he hides behind a car. They shoot at him from close range.

B'Tselem said that Mr Shahin was killed instantly and Mr Jundob died of his wounds the next day.

Why is what Israel doing to the Palestinian somehow justifiable?

I thought I'd go back to the start of this thread.

What is happening and has been going on for as long as anyone can remember is a very complex issue, which has had some of the greatest minds try and find a solution. Yet we are still seeing bloodshed and terror.

I believe that one of the biggest issues is the unbendable rules of the religion that the leaders of Palestinians and their supporters subscribe to and persist with. It is their religion that condones murder and martyrs, it is their leaders that promote and teach it. This is no way for a society to live in peace, develop and prosper.

Imagine if even half the money spent on weapons and digging tunnels was spent on education an industry.

Singapore’s revolution from an impoverished Third World outpost was achieved in not much more than a generation. Gaza had the same opportunity, but chose to pass.

This is what the morons in our society are supporting

I can't answer that, but maybe we could start deporting the ones that live in Australia with dual citizenships.
