HRZ awaitng the mining approval for the two open pits at Phillips Find.
Has a joint venture arrangement with BML to share the profits.
Low risk, but lower return.
They probably need the money.
I expect a bit of a boost when this comes through (assuming that scrag Plibersek does not come along and put the kybosh on it.).
Looking to get a quick trade out if this happens.

sold my HRZ today on announcement that the Philips find is approved. and first ore produced at Borara.
Nice little profit for a quick turnaround.
Got lucky on a punt.

I'm now in to this little beauty, I still can't work out what's holding the price down, but I thought I'd give it a go as a buy and forget punt. My first foray in to the Gold/Silver small cap exploration/producers this cycle.

Ashok Parekh, a good Irishman in Kalgoorlie, is non Exec Chairman and the finds and previous/present production are in posts above.

Horizon seems to have found buyers with a decent rise in price today. They are mainly a gold prospect but have some what could be significant silver assets which are causing interest because of the rising silver price.

The Supreme Court of Western Australia has approved the merger deal between Poseidon Nickel (ASX: POS) and Horizon Minerals (ASX:HRZ). Under the deal, Horizon will acquire all shares and options in Poseidon.

Painful looking at this one - I think I accumulated around 410,000 shares for 10c-12c before losing heart and faith in the M.D and tossing in the towel with most of them for a big CGT loss. The chart has not only remained interesting from my last look but become more so. Features are obvious with the big rounding low and a break above one 'lip' (as in a cup lip), then retest at 6c and now challenging a second lip at 7c. All in my feverish hallucinations. Also the volume bars in recent times.

It's next door to Kalgoorlie and an adjacent neighbour to Black Cat's (BC8) 'Kal East' operation.

I ignore this stock but had cause to look at the chart and its quite interesting in that volume has had a sustained explosion while recently the monthly candle bodies are small. I usually take this as a bullish sign for a depressed price chart. It also gives the impression of building a higher low.

I ignore this stock but had cause to look at the chart and its quite interesting in that volume has had a sustained explosion while recently the monthly candle bodies are small. I can't even remember what I did and why with this yapper but on a search I dropped $a few hundred on them. The true believers on HC are still yabbering on about "our" company and management people with names like Dwayne and Bobbie-Joe or some such., coming and going, tightening belts etc. etc. They have issued more shares as one would and are doing a pre feasibility study on something.

The expression pre feasibility has always fascinated me. A bit like "I suppose there wouldn't be any chance of a root". Said more in the expectation of a no rather than a yes result.

I do have a rule of thumb though, if the muppets on HC start talking about "our company" and "us" it is a sign to stay well away. I note @finicky that you are buying shares for other people. If you run out of people I'd be happy for you to buy me some.
