Any thoughts on this launched today I believe.

This is how I am planning to get American exposure, current SP500 standard index is way to top heavy in my opinion. Feel like the even weighted gives a better exposure of the overall American market, and will provide more gains from mid caps in a rate cut environment.

i haven't looked at this ( and prefer to focus on Asian exposure )

however i would advise you dig deep into the paper-work and see how they plan to do this

things like how often they rebalance the portfolio ( one Austalian version re-balances every two months )

how the stocks are selected ( surely they aren't just going to buy the top 500 US stocks ( the Australian one buys something like 84 of the top 200 )

and currency hedging is a two-edged sword , and comes as an extra fee/cost

BTW , i hold several other Betashares offerings , but digging deep into the research still pays off

i like the concept ( which is why i delved deeply in the Australian version ) but the entry-point and details will be very important to your outcome

cheers

You may have already considered these two but I'll put them here as a placeholder. IJH - S&P Mid Caps; IJR S&P Small Caps. Haven't checked the performance of either.
