Hi, I would like to introduce myself here

I am 48 years old live in Brisbane and am trading for a few years now all by myself. At this point I decided that it is probably a good idea to reach out to some other traders to speed up my development process.

Up to this point I traded almost everything as a trial but settled now more or less on active share trading. As broker I chose interactive brokers and my markets are US, German and Australian.

So if here are any likeminded traders in this forum that like to get in contact with me I would be more then happy.

Welcome @Burger_Trades to ASF. My trading portfolio is Speculative Stock Portfolio. I also talk about various stocks of interest in individual stock threads and in other fellow ASF member threads.

Hi Burger, great to see new members, as Joe and Aus pointed out plenty of interesting info to dig through.
I'm not a trader, more a buy and hold, but I have been on the forum a long time, the reason being it is a genuine forum built on honesty and mutual respect IMO,not full of argument and ramping.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts, don't hesitate to jump into discussions, the more the merrier, cheers.

Hello @Burger_Trades , IMO if you want to improve your trading performance then go through @Skate 's Dump it Here thread. In particular I suggest you go through every trade in the Daily VIX system posts. Plot the entry and exit on all the charts and study them. Yes this may seem to be a lot of work but I guarantee that doing this will motivate you improve your own short term systems. These trades will also show you the importance of exits.

Welcome @Burger_Trades ... If you go and read up on the Posts/Input of any of the chaps who have already welcomed you so far, you won't go too far wrong in finding what you seek
