Finding info on startups/small stock companies

hi guys,

I just found this site today and have already learnt abit! Its great..

I am looking to start investing, and I am trying to find somewhere where I can find out information about small stocks. I dont know the first place to look. Where do you look to find information about potential investments?

I dont know the names or codes of any companies that fit into this category! lol.. hope someone can help

Hi Matt,
Welcome to the forums, you're sure to enjoy your time here!
If you browse through the Beginners forum and the Trading Tips forum you will find some sites and other resources that people find useful. It does take time but is worth the effort, you can also use the serach tool at the top of the page.
Google is also great!

Also be aware that anything said here should be taken as though a drunken and unshaven person wearing a blue singlet, footy shorts and thongs told you about it at the pub on a Tuesday night.

'and thongs'!??? Nah mate, we're not that upmarket here, get it right doc!

But doc is right, take everything with a grain of salt, you are always the final judge and the responsibility is yours, sounds tough but it'll be easier for you to deal with in the long run.
