Christmas is only a week away, so I just want to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy and Safe Christmas.
It has been an interesting and profitable year, and I'd like to make special mention of some members who have made a very real contribution to 2006 for me.
First of all, of course, to Joe, for making ASF possible. And to all the moderators, some of whom we see more of than others, for your tireless and often thankless work. Forget the criticism: there's heaps more appreciation.
To Professor Frink: for some very professorial dissertations on moving averages, and some gorgeous puppy photos.
To Rederob: for generously contributing his understanding of metals, particularly zinc, to the benefit of many of us.
To Prospector: whose avatar has undoubtedly been the source of many fevered fantasies on the part of some of our male members.
To Duckman: for his readiness to provide us with accounting know-how in response to many questions, and also for exceptionally well balanced and thoughtful contributions to many of the General Chat threads.
To Staybaker: for explaining the use of "Winsnap" screen shot programme which I've found immensely useful.
To Visual: I will never look at a hijab and not think of you, Visual.
Why have we heard so little from you recently?
To Wayne: for consistently recognising that it's possible to find both fundamental and technical analysis useful, and that it doesn't have to be some sort of competition about which is "best".
To Kerosam: for such honest communication. Perhaps 2007 will be the year of that special girl, Kero.
Best wishes to all of you, and my sincere thanks for your contributions.
