I posted earlier on a thread called 'The Singularity,' and it's not under "What's New?" or "new posts". Can't find it anywhere.

I took threads from the General Chat forum out of most search results some time ago because people who come here for stock market discussion were sick and tired of seeing political and other unrelated threads dominating the search results.

Ultimately I decided that if people want to read threads in General Chat, then they know where they are.
 
The tool bar on my posting field is greyed out and unresponsive. I think Joe advised me last time this happened to tap on a settings icon but now I cannot find said icon. Also, I refreshed my page and the post I was writing disappeared (might not be related)

Click the "Toggle BB Code" icon. It should be the only icon not greyed out. The tool bar icons should then reappear.

 
Nope, not there Joe.
Maybe an issue with my tablet. I'll restart it.
I was just able to make a post without issue but obviously couldnt put in any video or stored image if I'd wanted.

I am unable to open up the "Gold price : Where is it heading" thread.

It gives me the following message. Anyone else having problems?

I put a new antivirus on last night ...
Perhaps it is that ...
Strange though it is just that page ...
Other ASF pages OK...
Perhaps Mr. Soros preventing me from getting ASF info on Gold.

it opened for me as well but i don't use Safari ( except very rarely on the iPhone )



it may be an Apple thing ( i used to have similar garbage on Chrome and Firefox , so ditched them both )

maybe gold is sexist , or racist this week in candy Apple land
 
Probably not an ASF issue but I'm losing heaps of text when trying to post today. I have lost the text from the pisting field two times while composing and editing a compelling post on Codan (CDA) and it's too painful to try for a third. Galaxy tablet. Reply not necessary, just feedback. I have done another of a perpetual round of cleans and this post is going fine.

Today is Sunday, 3/9/23, @ 6.35pm..... "ASF Issues, Errors and Problems" (page 12 post #236).....
I will use this post as "The Test" for posts that go missing from 'Whats New/Latest Activity'....
Will periodically look at the problem, at opportunity, over the the next few days - as I will need to log on & off several times after changing various "Account Privacy & Preferences" settings.....
This is not a major problem, just an iritating one....
