And it would appear that @mullokintyre is also swinging in the breeze earby.
@Garpal Gumnut me I'm just happy I wasn't able to put a penny dreadful up just to finish in lowest quadrant.
Just looking at the April comp.
Just looking at the April comp.
If things stay as they are?? then it might become a battle out of 4 for the top 3 and the coin!!!!!!
three public holidays this month that makes it shorter than February ( this year ) maybe the finish line is closer than it looksWe're still not even a third of the way into the month. There's really not much difference between -5% and +5% at this stage, and most of them aren't all that far below 0.
Heck, look at last month, the winner was coming last on a massive negative until right before the end of the month. I had a commanding lead near the end of the month but was overtaken by multiple people and didn't even place.
I wouldn't read anything at all into the four being in the green at this stage, I don't think they have any huge advantage over the majority of others. If we were in the final week, yeah, the guy in front would be the favourite but you wouldn't be getting too excited. The difference between them is still pretty small.
Pretty interesting competition this month, I sort of want to see the winner in the red. Not that I wish losses on any of the competitors, I think think it would be surreal to see a #1 winner in the red. A bit sad the thread was closed before I got my entry in, it would have been fun taking part in such a heavy handicap race. I personally believe that excluding me from the competition is the reason things have gone so badly - karma has struck, and I hope a valuable lesson has been learned.
@divs4ever The Bloke in the Mirror sort of suggested that to me also.three public holidays this month that makes it shorter than February ( this year ) maybe the finish line is closer than it looks

Nah, that guy will just have to wait for his money! If we were in the final week, yeah,

That guy out front has now ran out a 20% lead on 2nd and 3rd....
Markets up almost 3000 points last night US and Gold almost $100 and he extended his lead....
starting to think its all over red rover for April...
Maybe just send him 1st prize now and let the rest fight it out for 2nd and 3rd ...

the guy in front could also even claim an 'early bird' loading as the leading stock, #1 on the pile, was tipped, boldly, on 18 March, first cab off the rank, fearlessly going where no other tipster had gone, confident and no looking back - apart from something along the lines of "third time lucky". And delivering an even better 6.5c to 10c lift if that was the start date.If we were in the final week, yeah,

Just been having a look at the April Comp as an outsider looking in for this month.the guy in front could also even claim an 'early bird' loading as the leading stock, #1 on the pile, was tipped, boldly, on 18 March, first cab off the rank, fearlessly going where no other tipster had gone, confident and no looking back - apart from something along the lines of "third time lucky". But, alas, such claims will fall on deaf ears as Consiglieri Joe deigns to announce the winner at the appropriate time, as per the rules and regulations especially Clause 23, section 8, addendum 2.11.
@Garpal Gumnut I must have mis-read you gg Happy to be in last place coinhabiting with the un-washed, well I never would have thought.I don't reckon that my tip BGD a golder with a mill and some good finds won't win. It is a while away from turning dirt into gold and selling it. This market wants instant gratification. I nearly bought some today but pulled the limit order. I will own some one day, not yet though, too toppy imo.
Presently in 4th place and I'd be happy with either 3rd or last places.
gg
Well mate sometimes I tire of hobnobbing with the rich and famous so joining the unwashed at last place would mean my pick would be at a lower price which would mean that I could buy it at a price more suitable. I also enjoy the banter of the unwashed presently occupying those spots.@Garpal Gumnut I must have mis-read you gg Happy to be in last place coinhabiting with the un-washed, well I never would have thought.
