Wanted to keep my posts/notes in one thread rather than scatter them, so following on from my post on '
investors who practise deep value investing'
Spent last week studying
Mohnish Pabrai (notes from most of his partnership letters and quite a few case studies).
Currently studying
Peter Cundill. (Watch this video if you're interested:
Mr. Peter Cundill, FCA, CFA, The Cundill Group)
The week after next is reserved for studying
Guy Spier.
I can't believe that all these people that I've studied so far (or are on my 'to study' list) share an incredible similarity - they're all humble & gracious people. I'm going to steal these qualities for myself
Also, since I got so excited by studying the Standard and Poors 500 Guide 2013 a few weeks back that I'm placing an order for
The Japan Company Handbook. Look forward to turning the pages one by one for 3500 companies when it arrives.
Thanks to The Falcon for mentioning

Hope we can attract a similar mindset/crowd here too.
Special thanks to the handful of people that've kindly allowed me to get in touch with them. I enjoy bouncing ideas/notes and learning from all of you. I hope to have the pleasure of meeting you all in person someday - the privileged is all mine.
In the meantime, here's one of my fav quotes on valuation:
If you can't add it, subtract it, multiply, or divide it, the math is too heavy.
