ABC is Political

He may be right in that, I think Trump has all the U.S. media either in his pocket or scared shiteless of him.

But that's their problem not ours.

By all the $hit Bas links paying out on Trump, I don't think be has any U.S media in his pocket and I'm sure his dodgy financial dealings have been well publicised.

But as you say it is their issue not ours, jumping up and making a dick of himself, has just really made Australia make a stayement we are anti Trump, how or if that helps Australia, time will tell.
China has screwed our nickel, screwed our lithium and we are screwing our coal and smelting industries are on life support, so now we screw the U.S relations, I hope someone has a plan. Lol

Like I said, we have enough issues at home, that we aren't addressing, why blow a chance to further out U.S options, when all our options are diminishing.

We appear to be woke wonders of the self destructive new world, hopefully it all works out well for us.
Lol fingers crossed, the loonies are driving, hopefully they get us home, without a crash.

So why join the conga line, if there is no up side and a lot of down side? Like I said there are heaps of isues at home, without trying to take on board Americas issues.
It's very noble, but it doesn't have any up side, why not go to China and front up to Xi about his rise in afluence and media censorship, Lol
Now that would be something, ask him why he is screwing over our nickel and lithium, now that would be a scoop and might give Australia a vision as to our future.

Because in media and entertainment you are better off in America or the UK. The upside is a chance at a better career outside of career limiting Australia.

It's not a shocking or terrible idea to do this story - but who benefits from this story? The Australian people? No. I don't think so. But the people who produced it and investigated it? Yep.... Do a story on Trump and you'll be better able to sell yourself overseas. Do a story on China or do a story on regional politics in Tasmania, or a story on the influence of the banks of miners on Australian leaders? Hmmm. not so much.
