Read an interesting post regarding leverage wherein it discussed a leveraging strategy for a stock that was returning 12% growth and 7% dividend..my thought is what is the "easiest way" to search for stocks such as this (without a black box/program)of course?

The above site is good for comparing stocks eg dividend yields. You can even throw the data into excel and then play around further.
In regards to growth, no one can tell you that. You'll only know what the % growth is after its happened.

Cheers

Hi TBI

If you are with Comsec maybe have a look at their Advanced Search Tool.

Select the Growth and Income categories and enter your cut-off parameters for growth and dividends and you should get the results you are looking for.

cheers :)

Hi TBI,

Care to share your article re: leverage strategy? or give a brief run down on your idea? Curiosity has got me.

It was a post on Yahoo Finance Forum (under Finance news from memory) the guys was talking about CBA and leveraging into that over the last 10 years

I'm surprised that CBA didn't make it onto my Comsec search list then
