Caprice Resources' assets consist of 4 exploration licences covering two projects being the Wild Horse Hill Project, located 115km southeast of Darwin and 18km east of Adelaide River in the Northern Territory, and the Northampton Project, located 40km north of Geraldton. The Company was attracted to these projects due to their prospective geological setting within proven mineralised belts, and their lack of modern exploration as the Tenements were previously held by private prospectors or companies focused on other commodities.

The Wild Horse Hill Project covers an area of over 231km² and is situated in the Pine Creek mineralogical terrain, which is considered to be highly prospective for gold highlighted by the presence of established and historical gold mining areas. The Company's primary focus at Wild Horse Hill will be to evaluate and test the 2,500m strike that includes the Reid, Fisher and Cook prospects for their potential to host a high grade gold resource.

The Northampton Project hosts a large number of historic silver, lead and copper producing mines that date back to 1850. The Company plans to target extensions to the historical mines in the area with the help of modern exploration techniques in the hope of proving up a maiden resource.

It is anticipated that CRS will list on the ASX during October 2018.

not pretty, probably raised money, diluted s/holders along the way.

Now what's happening?

Update on its Phase 1 Reverse Circulation drill programme at the Island Gold Project. Phase 1 drilling has returned exceptional thick, high-grade gold intersections from testing previously unrecognised, high-grade, structurally controlled, cross-cutting “Break of Day” analogue gold targets.

HIGHLIGHTS
• Island Gold Project drilling intersects multiple zones of thick, shallow, high-grade goldmineralisation across numerous targets, open in multiple directions along 5km of strike
• Significant gold intercepts at Vadrians Hill include:
• 28m @ 6.4 g/t from 114m downhole in 24IGRC009, including:
12m @ 7.8 g/t from 114m; and
4m @ 16.4 g/t from 130m and a further mineralised sequence up-dip;
• 27m @ 3.0 g/t from 48m downhole in 24IGRC009, including:
4m @ 4.9 g/t from 61m; and
5m @ 6.9 g/t from 69m
• 15m @ 4.6 g/t from 112m downhole in 24IGRC008, including:
9m @ 7.0 g/t from 113m
• Significant gold intercepts at Baxter /Golconda include:
• 9m @ 2.8 g/t from 27m downhole in 24IGRC001, including:
3m @ 5.8 g/t from 30m
• 12m @ 3.9 g/t from 90m downhole in 24IGRC001, including:
6m @ 5.9 g/t from 94m
• 8m @ 1.5 g/t from 114m downhole in 24IGRC002, including:
2m @ 4.6 g/t from 118m
• 5km of highly prospective strike to be tested with numerous identical structures identified between the New Orient and Shamrock historical gold workings
• Multiple thick, stacked high-grade gold lodes intersected at depth and down plunge from surface workings that remain open in several directions with drilling constrained to less than 100m vertical depth - Substantial maiden resource opportunity
• 5,000m RC drill programme recommenced at the Island Gold Project:
• Phase 1 comprising 10 RC drill holes for 1,554m completed in December 2024
• Phase 2 comprising 30 RC drill holes for approximately 3,500m in progress

but...

1. Is CRS aware of any information concerning it that has not been announced to the market which, if known by some in the market, could explain the recent trading in its
securities
?
Yes.
2. If the answer to question 1 is “yes”:
a) Is CRS relying on Listing Rule 3.1A not to announce that information under Listing Rule 3.1?
Yes. At the time of receipt of the price query, the Company was in possession of exploration results which it was not able to release to the market due to ongoing QA/QC and validation to ensure veracity of the results.
b) Can an announcement be made immediately?
As the announcement could not be made at the time of receipt of the price query, a trading halt was implemented.
c) If an announcement cannot be made immediately, why not and when is it expected that an announcement will be made?
The announcement regarding exploration results is being released concurrently with this response.

The Company is currently undertaking a two-phase drill programme at the Island Gold Project which originally commenced in December 2024 (see announcement dated 09 Dec 2024) before breaking for the holidays. The second phase commenced in February 2025 (see announcement dated 3 Feb 2025). Assay results have been received for the December 2024 drilling which have now been reviewed and interpreted by the Company’s independent Competent Person. These results are set out in the announcement of today’s date.

etc etc ....

CRS is my pick in the March 2025 Competition. It is a Golder in the Murchison Fields along with Westgold and other explorers. It had a gee up in the price recently so someone knows something I don't know. Anything in Murchison is worth a dart every now and then.

gglad you went for this tip, Mr Gumnut . it made my longlist , my shortlist but lost out to another.

'East Coast Research' is pumping this today in an email I received. We can see from the chart that mates and traders are pre-set for a trade. Obviously I am not suggesting to buy this. I have put it on a watchlist for the likely collapsing souffle effect as the mates exit. My attention was caught by the statement that CRS has a gold resource close to mills owned by Westgold and Ramelius. Haven't looked into it beyond that. Unlikely that I'll buy - sick of specs lately.

Not Held

"Caprice Resources (ASX: CRS) is a mineral exploration company with a diverse portfolio of exploration assets in tier-1 mining jurisdictions in Western Australia. It conducts exploration and project development activities for high-value commodities, focusing primarily on gold, copper and niobium (a rare earth element) at its Murchison Goldfields and West Arunta Projects. With the recent strength in gold price and the arrival of a new board and the new CEO during Q3 CY2024, CRS is now focused on its gold assets, particularly its Projects in the Murchison Goldfields. CRS has a two-pronged approach – Focussing on the Island Gold Project (IGP) in Murchison Goldfields while advancing its copper, gold and niobium greenfield exploration in the recently acquired West Arunta Project.

Gold projects in Murchison to deliver value catalysts in CY2025

The company’s Murchison Projects’ tenements are strategically located in the Archean greenstone terrain (yielded >15Moz gold since the 1990s), ~20km from Cue and Westgold’s gold processing mill and 60km from Mt Magnet and Ramelius’ mill (via the Great Northern Highway in Western Australia). The company’s three-pillar Murchison gold strategy encompasses (a) discovery and resource expansion at the IGP, which had an initial exploration target of 200-300koz @ 1.5-1.9g/t gold (JORC compliant, although before recently announced exciting drill results) and has demonstrated discovery of new lodes of high-grade intercepts in recent drilling campaigns; (b) exploration at Cuddingwarra; and (c) development studies at the New Orient Gold Mine helping provide optionality on a production pipeline. With outstanding recent discoveries of newly identified thick mineralised lodes and an aggressive active drilling programme, Caprice is well-positioned to deliver significant value catalysts at IGP."

CRS is my pick of the June 2025 tipping comp.

From the 20 May 2025 announcement:
HIGHLIGHTS

~4000m out of the 5,000m RC drill programme completed to date at the Island Gold Project:
o
Board and CEO have determined to increase drill metres at Vadrians and New Discovery due to previous drilling success along strike and at depth.
o
Planned total metres increased from 5,000m to 7,000m.
o
Targeting dip and strike extensions to Vadrians high-grade mineralisation, following up on 28m at 6.4 g/t gold from 114m downhole in hole 24IGRC0091.
o
New discovery step-out drilling, following up on prior drilling results; 22m at 2.3 g/t gold from 168m downhole including 2m at 14.1 g/t gold in hole 25IGRC0271.
o
First drill hole assays anticipated in June.
Might light a spark under the SP in June.

Not fair, I go to the trouble of finding this little gold spec that going to report results in June.

Only to see that @Craton has beaten me to it.

Jumped in early to grab CRS for the July comp.

CRS has had a recent cap raise at 0.052 to further it's drilling program. Price hasn't moved much since then. I'm banking on 0.052 to be support while waiting for news of their next big strike.

I decided to have a small poke at this little monster. It has been a consistent pick in the comp this year.

TH pending an announcement regarding a capital raze
and so they did.
