Some thoughts, trading $1000

So basically I'm new. Yes keep your ego's to yourself please. And I've got $1000 that I want to play with. I've been following one stock for over a year now and it's a penny stock on the U.S. Market. Although I want to trade on the Aussie market I find that if I had bought and sold on this stock when I wanted to, I'd probably would have tripled my money by now. I understand penny stocks hold great risk etc. but my dilemma is. Where is a good online trading platform to trade on the asx and for penny stocks. That had a low minimum trade value?

Any thoughts ideas or push me to the right area please.

no, they do straight stock broking.

Try Open Markets, I think it's $13.95 brokerage for stocks. Quite inexpensive.

Open markets yeah ok I'll have a look when I get home. Demo accounts would be mad. I just want to give it a go. Once I start I'm sure I'll learn more than I can by not trying. Like Smme is the stock I've been following cause of the visa and mc case. They keep fluctuating between 10 and 15 cents through out the week.
