Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing the chronic unreliability of AxiTrader's (formerly Axis ODL) data feed ?.

This morning it was down (again) for 10 minutes. Usual outage is around 2 to 3 minutes, averaging one outage per week, and usually right on the open.

I've been trying to trade the SPI200 CFD with them because I like the MT4 platform and the 1 point spread, but the reliability is a major issue.

Have searched these forums and elsewhere and can't find any other MT4 broker where I can trade a SPI CFD. Anyone know of one ?.

Mate, they have been suffering reliability for a couple of months now, each BS excuse getting repetitive and the problems getting more serious. Their server have now crashed! What more is there to say, 2 consecutive NFP night and this happens. Moving on to Pepperstone!

Hi Guys ... Looking for a quick reply from any other Axitrader Account holders if possible ....

Are you currently logged on and have a FTSE data feed working??

Cheers.

Ok ... no reply, but just for the record I was holding several small short positions on the FTSE when I last posted, and the only thing that could not be traded on my Platform was ... have a guess:rolleyes:

Anyway, I live chatted a couple of times and rang Axi etc etc. The FTSE eventually came on line but I was way in the red.

They have promised to reimburse my positions but as of yet not done. I will update here tomorrow if or if not that has been done.

My gut feel is I think they will, but I also think I may have to remind them:cautious: ... We'll see what eventuates.

Send emails documenting everything and screen shots are a great thing to do as well.
Hard copy everything.
Verbal agreements aren't worth the paper they are written on.
(Not saying they wont come good)
If anything goes wrong here I screen shot everything!

Agree 100% Tech ....

I have screenshot and saved all the three live chat scenarios .... I'm pretty confident they will honour the agreement but as you say, its always best to keep a paper trail. Its only a small amount of money in the overall scheme of things and it would certainly not be in their best interest to do anything other than the right thing.

Just for the record, that was how it panned out ... My account was credited this arvo, after a few polite reminders.

I would have been very surprised if they hadn't honoured the agreement, but the time lag was a bit longer than I would have thought.

So basically Axitrader have shown themselves to be honourable, which is a positive on their behalf.
