Yes specially this bit "Check ASIC’s professional registers (link is external) to make sure the provider has an Australian Financial Services (AFS) License or is authorised by an AFS Licensee.

Where is WBE now? speechless? or cooking some Too good to be true response!

WBE very conspicuous by the sound of crickets emanating from WBE central or perhaps, they've had a little visit from the authorities.

HI, interesting article with only one major problem, it refers to brokers witch take the bets and we are not a broker.
Other than that if there are some new questions that where not answered before we will be here to answer them right away.

Hahahhahahahah but you are recommending signals in the binary market which have to be taken with one of these brokers. Time for you to make another account to give good reviews about yourself. (make sure you use a different time this time unlike last 2 times).

Scamwatch are very slow but I have a got a response from my report. Waiting to see if ASIC if will take the case.

Re: World Binary Exchange Scam

Hi, i got a call from this company for a 3 day trial free of charge.
I wander if anyone has used their services before?

They initially claimed to be licensed with ASIC but later that turns into registered which any company in Australia is. Then they claim they do not need to be licensed to provide the advice they are giving when clearly it is a requirement and easily described so on the ASIC web site.

Lastly they want you to pay 12-36 months in advance for their advice which cant be very good as a satisfied customer would gladly pay each month. If they could make as much money as they say they can why would they bother prospecting for customers.

Steer Clear

The extract from ASIC lists he is involved in WBE yet you deny his involvement in earlier posts. Pretty simple - look at the endless compnies he has been involved with in the finance industry. Not one lasts the duration a reputable business should. WBE will be no exception.
Buying lists and cold calling people with non legal verbal contracts broken by WBE and then threatening to do damage to a persons credit rating is hardly the type of business etiquette honest people put into practice

SAY NO IF CALLED BUT THEY WILL STILL CONTINUALY HARRASS YOU

Well you cant be a trader or educational institution if you are selling packages managed by WBE

STEER CLEAR

Hi all,
Wow this is all getting interesting, lots of open questions so let’s answer to all those questions out there and my apologies I could not get back to you any sooner!

People asking who is running the company!

This is an extract from ASIC

The current director of operations is Mr. McGarrell.

The hours are there therefore you can easily look at the graph on Bloomberg / google / trading terminal or any other and figure out from the result which direction the alert that clients receive claimed to be.
I believe you have that kind of capabilities it can only be that the market when higher or lower than the entry time (unless its the exact same witch is highly unlikely)
That said we are the only once posting to this extent even if we don’t have to.
I also know for a fact that a new website is under development where the full details along with graphs will be displayed.
To note here that detailed records and historical data is currently only available to clients.

That was mentioned once! Simply because we dealt with a data breach early this year, of witch existing clients where informed. This was an ex-employ, this is why it was mentioned, and the case was given over to authorities.

Actually guess what, none of them! It seems that you believe the company does not have any employs ? That would be scary!

There are better means of advertising and surely you should believe that all these kind replies where bound to happen. Nothing wrong with criticism.
I'm here to answer any questions regarding our products and to clarify any misunderstanding.

We are providers of trade alerts for binary options, which are not a financial product but fall under gambling therefore profit derived from it tax free.

Clients can open accounts where the believe it's best for them.
But let’s have a look at where the big brokers are regulated!
ig.com - uk or other depending on location
************* - Cyprus
binary.com - Malta / isle of Man
iqoption.com - Seychelles
pokerstars.com - Isle of Man

What you expect they all in what you call "tin pot countries" mainly for tax reasons, as no one likes to give away 50% or more of their earnings in taxes.
Just recently with the publications of the so called "PANAMA PAPERS" it is pretty obvious that the above companies are not the only once!!
Tax havens or better low tax jurisdictions have been around for many years and will always be around, simply because there will always be that one willing to take a little less for a cut of the market.

Like mentioned above the results are posted on social media and can therefore be audited if you like to do so yourselves! These results are the same as the once we provide to clients!
If you decided to run some analysis a quick search on google the following places witch we are not affiliated with provide historical data where you can run analysis against:

https://www.tickdata.com/
https://www.onetick.com/
http://www.tickdatamarket.com/

Mind you that the data from different providers might yield different results when the outcome was a close call but that is likely to be in the 1% or 2% range.

And what has a managed fund to do with binary options?? I don’t get it! We are not a financial services company and do not provide financial advice.

That's really silly,
If I was to be a car dealer selling Mercedes, I have to drive a Mercedes?
If I was a dealer at a casino, I have to be a gambler?
If I was a store clerk selling cigarettes, I have to be a smoker?

I do my job to make a living, just about like most other people, at the end of my day I go home to my wife and kids and enjoy my rest of the day them.
Surely not to go back and watch the stock market run analysis on data or any of that.

Well I totally agree with you on that! Anyone braking the law deserves to face the consequences.
If World binary exchange packages is nothing more than gambling then why don't you state this on your website as to not tell clients or potential clients is pure deception which to my knowledge is against the law.
Gaining financial benefits by deception.

This company is trying to scam me out of money.
They use Dun &Bradstreet as debt recovery and if you refuse to pay Dun &Bradstreet contact you and try to use the bad credit card to get you to pay

Then WBE start calling threatening legal threats and saying it will cost more in legal fees.
They don't call when tgey are supposed to
Even when they are told in writing you are not interested in the trial they still invoice you
There is a 10 day cooling off period according to ACCC and also a 30 day cooling off period according to state consumers affairs as it is a unsolicited comsumer agreement that is if there is any agreement.

These people are scamners who do not tell people this is gambling but if you look at tgeir website and facebook page it all relates to ginancila matters
ASIC have had complaints from a number of people so lets see if they stand up or continue to fumble the ball.

FFS, just Google the pricks.

If you deal with these scammers after a good 5 minute google search then you deserve to get fleeced.

If you've already been scammed then i'm sorry your money is gone, you should have googled before you invested.

P.S. I'm sorry if i offend anyone with the word "pricks", but it's a lot better than the word i wanted to use.

WORLD BINARY EXCHANGE IS THE BIGGEST SCAM AND THEIR FREE 3 DAY TRIAL IS NOT FREE!!! YOU WILL BE CHARGED REGARDLESS SO DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR DETAILS AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!

I know 6 other people including myself who are going to be taking action against WBE and exposing them as the scamming con artists they are. This company rings you up out of the blue, pressures you into doing a verbal agreement to do a free 3 day trial and then when you tell them you are not interested in their service (because it sounds like gambling), they try to charge you $1500 for it using excuses such as, you have broken the contract by not completing the 3 day trial when it was them in fact that did not complete the 3 day trial because they were too busy trying to convince me that their strategies are not gambling when they are actually regulated under the gambling association which they denied by the way.

Then when that tactic didn't work, they accused me of lying because they reckon I told them that I had access to $30k in liquidated funds when in fact I told them specifically that i only had access to $30k through equity which needed another signatury because i was only part owner of the property. They also intitially told me it was only gonna cost $12k start up and then went up to $30k startup.

Regardless of this, by the end of day 2 of the trial I wasn't interested in what they had to offer but agreed to complete the trial because I was obligated via this verbal contract. Before I started the trial I was very clear about what i actually agreed to at the beginning because they told me that I was being recorded. As soon as I heard the verbal agreement they played over the phone, I didn't like what I was hearing so I told them that I didn't agree to what they stated but I verbalised on the audio that I would agree to a 3 day trial and if I didn't think that was the best investment strategy for me then I could pull out under no obligation, which they agreed to. On day 3 of the trial the guy rang me in the morning and instead of placing bids he spent the whole time trying to convince me this strategy was not gambling again. In the end he didn't ring me in the evening like he was supposed to in order to fulfill his end of the contract , however he probably thought it was a waste of time so he didn't ring which means he voided the contract anyway

Since then over the past 6 months I have had these guys threaten to take me to the creditors. I then had D&B creditors threaten to take me to court and give me bad credit rating. In the end the creditors gave up and 2 days ago I had WBE litigation call me and threaten me with court. Their litigation officer is called Harriet Law (how ironic) and she was another one who liked talking over the top of you and not giving a crap what you had to say. I told them to go right ahead and take me to court and to listen to the recording and get their facts straight because I know what i did and did not agree to and don't like to have words put in my mouth. I have requested for them to send me a copy of my audio recording and haven't heard from them since.

I have not paid this company a single cent and I suggest you don't either. The ACCC state that all contracts are entitled to a 10 day cooling off period regardless of the circumstances, so clearly what they are doing is wrong.

If you have been scammed by these guys and would like to take joing group legal action against them then please contact me. I also urge you to report Global Binary Exchange to ASIC and ACCC as well as fair trading. Good luck :)

Hi i am dealing with WBE right now i was basically told that if I wanted my name taken off their list i had to do the 3 day trial so i did. The first day i was given incorrect login details the second day there was issues with the internet cause by wateva telstra was doing (this is neither my fault or theirs) the third day i was rushed to hospital due to my seizures i have epilepsy this is not my fault either.
Now i have some lady harassing me telling me that i have to pay as this is all my fault, though i still don't understand how its my fault as i did nothing intentional to not complete the trial. As i wasn't aware that this was a scam and they had a person talking to me about this company i didnt think there was anything wrong. I did agree to pay to make them go away but was not taking liability for this as none of it was my fault for the inability to do this trial.
Now she's threatening me with D&B unless i pay by 5pm today. I told her i am no longer paying as i have been informed that they are just a scam ripping ppl off

Would WBE like to respond without using any of their multi nics.
Could I ask WBE if they are not licensed by ASIC as an AFS and claim to be in the gaming industry do they have a gaming license.
Why they deny to prospective clients their service is gambling and why it is not stated on their website.

Where they get details from as they only have a name and in many cases not the correct name and phone number.

To tell people they must agree to a 3 day trial for them to stop calling is a disgrace
ASIC have been notified by many so get off your lazy ring and earn your pay packet.

Interestingly Dun & Bradstreet told me they had never dealt with WBE before.
Seems they are tellibg porkies.

Neat trick
Offer a free trial
Tell them you will keep ringing till they do
Either don't even call or have absolute rabbits call so people work out they know nothing

Send a dodgy invoice
Then get D&B to threaten bad credit rating if they don't pay.
Imagine the damage that could do to a young person wanting to buy a house or something

Come on ASIC lift your game.

Of course I gave them nothing but will offer to pay if one of them come to my place, that would be fun.

I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF A DISPUTE WITH WBE.

They claim that in mentioning the 3-day trial to my wife when saying NO that I do not wish to open a trading account with them, they say that I have breached the agreement as I included another person in the decision making process of my trial. I contest this as I was being herded towards the 30K package at the point where I was being asked by the trader to say YES/NO, which I didn't want. This was information that my wife didn't know, so how could my decision have been influenced by her? I have reported them to Scamwatch and to Consumer Protection. Both submissions are being assessed. D&B have not got a record of me either.

Yes I'd be happy to form a class action if need be.

I too answered their call and have been harassed constantly since then.

How can their tactics for chasing money be legitimate business practices?

Happy to group together to take them down.

I have had all the same contact you all have had from them, and their big argument is I verbally agreed to do the trial, and if I failed to complete it they would charge $999 US.
I argued the cooling down period - their response; it wasn't an unsolicited call. I certainly have no knowledge of any other call with them, and they certainly can't provide a recording.

Marc Morgan, Dun and Bradsteet, Harriet Law, and now Zack Hunter... all trying to justify charging for a free trial that didn't happen.

I would like to hear from anyone they have taken to court. They have been threatening me with this for a couple of months, and they continue to be quite relentless. I have no intention of paying them for a service they did not provide.

Once again, I will join together to take them down.
