Hi all,
A question that could be beneficial to all the newbies out there like myself.

What are good/acceptable/feasible grades and depths for all the major mtals out there?

A link or some basic data would be much appreciated.

And obviously it depends on the amt of other metals present, but im just after a very basic guide.

thanks in advance

Theres already some discussion about this on another thread.
Try to search it.

YT did an excellent post i remember.

Well ill make a start anyway.

Uranium: 300ppm
Copper: 1%
Zinc: 3%

i did this when i first started also. i thought it was as simple as getting grades then comparing companies.

However there are to many things to compare

a lot of variables:

- depth of resource
- size of resource
- type of mine that would be feasible
- price of metals
- forecast demand of metals
- recovery rate
- production design

i would suggest a book by victor rudenno the mining valuation handbook, very good and explains quite a few things
