TYR did well during the recovery from the tariff shock, but has stagnated again since. Needs another stimulus.

Interesting stock this one. See Tyro payments in all sorts of places out my way.
Just my opinion... re. SP. My guess/expectation is those that bought at recent lows will be offloading come tax time.
 
I should have grabbed this chance to top up last week.

TYR announced the CEO was moving on and the share price dropped 10%. I thought at the time that there were no real nasties in the announcement. It seems he is simply moving on to greener pastures and is staying on for 6 months for an orderly handover.

Total market overreaction and a chance that got away. Share price fully recovered 5 days later.

An interesting month for TYR.

Mid month it was announced that surcharges on debit and credit cards would be banned next year.

The TYR share price immediately took a hit, but soon after went on a bit of a run. Maybe analysts decided that banning surcharges was actually going to be good for TYR's business. Dunno.

10% Jump and now in a Trading halt.
Hopefully something good this time.

Takeover talk swirls around Tyro Payments

Takeover talk swirls around Tyro Payments which was placed in a trading halt this afternoon and subsequently replied to a “speeding ticket” from the ASX after its share price soared as much as 13 per cent to a 12 month high of $1.095.
TYR shares closed up 11 per cent at $1.072.
 
I've seen this show before. Let's see what happens this time.
