To all those out there in ASF land dont forget to tune you radio in to Triple J for the Hottst 100 today, the worlds biggest music poll.

Couple of surprises already, i thought Muse - United States of Eurasia would have rated a bit higher, but they will have more songs in, and Regina Spectre already has 2 in. Up to number 81 as we speak

Mumford & Sons will win, but my tip for an outsider in the top 10 is Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zero's - Home.

Muse wil prob be in there too, along with La Roux

Not much of a leak though, was alawyas going to be that. Just the kind of Alt Pop Rock that the majority of J's listeners are into. Personally i think its an ok song, i wouldn't vote for it, but i dont switch stations when its on

Bag Raiders - Shooting Stars in at # 18, that song has been massive for them and is a lot different and way more chilled than their normal 'smash it out' electro style

goyte Feat. Kimbra has this years number 1 sewn up, with Black Keys and Calvin Harris both likely to feature strongly.

The hottest 100 of Australian songs is announced tomorrow!

I submitted my votes and when doing so was reminded of just how many great Aussie songs there have been over the years.

What do ASFers think will be number 1?

My tip is Midnight Oil - Beds are Burning. It wasn't one of my votes, but it is a great song and remains current today.

I hope something lame doesn't get up (I'm looking at you, Horses). I'm confident that the Triple J audience will pick a worthy winner.

My son was disappointed it won. Really not the greatest song.
He had more recent entries I didn't know, many made it up there. Good to see Hill Side Hoods coming second, Veronica's 3rd.
