Qld is going to be a blood bath, these politicians have no idea what they're inciting.Shape of things before my eyes....
They need to get into the constitution via the voice to have a treaty, they're not recognised as a separate entity from the crown. You can't have a treaty with yourself if you're already classed as part of the crown. The Voice on its own isn't a bad thing but it's what it can open up after it's been implemented.Albo keeps digging deeper. This referendum is not about The Voice, that’s the Trojan Horse. The referendum should have been about implementing The Uluru statement in full. But he knew that wouldn’t get up. Talk about deception and misinformation! If he had have been upfront at the start he might have got more support on the back of a huge election win against weak opposition. If the referendum is held in October, Albo might be on the back bench in November.

Thanks @Knobby22Jon Faine's last ever column.
In my final column for The Sunday Age, I make one last plea
Having the opportunity to influence what people think has been a rare privilege. But a month ago, I was approached about joining the Museums Board.www.theage.com.au
Um, it actually stokes the divisions he claims the no campaign is responsible for, completely and unintelligently devoid of nuance.... Gaslighting pure and simple. Thanks @Knobby22
That is a very eloquent , measured and determined argument for the Yes Vote from Mr. Faine.

What do you call a valid argument ?So more fear mongering (issues that have nothing to do with the Voice) and still no valid argument supporting the No vote.
Racism, prejudice, ignorance and discrimination shining brightly right here at ASF never though I would see the day.
What do you call a valid argument ?
There have been plenty.
- we don't know how much it will cost.
- we don't know if it will work
- we don't know who qualifies to be on it or who qualifies to elect it
- the Constitution should be for all of us and not give privileges to particular groups
- why don't Aborigines use the same methods to give advice to the government that the rest of us do, like writing or emailing their local MP or Minister?
- why don't Ministers/ MP's simply visit their electorates and listen to the vibe like they do for everyone else ?
etc...
Rob did nothing except call people racists, it seems you are following his leadTry Peter Dutton
Agrees there should be recognition
Agrees there should be a Voice
He is pushing the No vote.
Was he or Price at GARMA this year if not why not?
One of the largest Aboriginal meeting isn't Price meant to represent them?
Robs actually covered your questions or you can read the productivity commissions report covers them as well.
Maybe secession? There's long been rumblings along these line regarding red and blue states in the US. All the Yes voters can maybe take the NT and northern WA, perhaps. There you can have your new constitution and live in your utopia. Enjoy!
Well it would have been interesting viewing, with the ABC ( Albo's Broadcasting Commission) on hand. ?Try Peter Dutton

There is something i notice about people with no punctuation...Perhaps it should be denigrating Aboriginals what ever it doesn’t solve the problem which remains the No vote problem no alternative or solutions just the sky will fall in afraid it just doesn’t cut it
Um didn't mention any secession for "WA", as such. The WA secession thing is one of those weirdo thought bubbles - yes biggest state with tiny population has a lot of currently highly in demand exportable stuff, like iron ore, in the ground.Haha there's lateral thinking SG, being a Sandgroper secession would be welcome for WA get rid of all the Eastern State bludgers being stumped up continually by WA while racking up insane levels of debt with nothing to show for it.
There's an hand grenade ? ?
The big problem is the people don't trust government to not use it against them.Perhaps it should be denigrating Aboriginals what ever it doesn’t solve the problem which remains the No vote problem no alternative or solutions just the sky will fall in afraid it just doesn’t cut it
If the only beer sold was emu export, I'd promise you everyone would leave in a hurry.Um didn't mention any secession for "WA", as such. Good luck defending ya self with a population of 2.8 million. But also the whole of our continent is extremely mobile - it's very common for a family to have some branch over in WA or here or there - our language and culture is basically identical all over the country. Fair number of WA people are over there to avoid an ex, or maybe they went there to snag an overly-paid mining job. Unless you've been there like 40,000 years, your or your family likely moved FROM the east coast to the west at some point.
Using absurd terms like "Eastern State bludgers" would possibly hold some water if WA economic performance was down to being some kind of manufacturing powerhouse. Was gonna say if the stuff in the ground ceased being so profitable other states would not try to secede from WA, but then I know you'd all just move back over to the east coast if things ever got really rough
Thats a bit rich coming from a bloke who accused a prominent Aboriginal Woman of "hating blackfellas" with whom who he disagreed.Perhaps it should be denigrating Aboriginals what ever it doesn’t solve the problem which remains the No vote problem no alternative or solutions just the sky will fall in afraid it just doesn’t cut it
