I have no problem with political discussion (or any other discussion) in the General Chat forum, as long as it is conducted in a civil and respectful way.However, having said that, it would be nice to see some more stock discussion. After all, ASF is a stock market forum. So please don't forget to post in stock threads and contribute some analysis or update everyone on any developments in the stocks that are on your watchlist.
