I stayed inside most of the day. Only outside trip was to the rain gauge and to get wood from near the back door to keep the fire blazing.Confirmed.
I was up at Moore River on a job, I got wet and cold.
I haven't been near a river for quite a while, although when we had 90mm in two hours recently, the nearby creek overflowed
Our farm is not that far from the highest point in the eastern darling Scarp, or so i am told.Since my house is on a ridge, almost 4km from the nearest body of water and 70 meters in elevation above it, I'll worry about flooding if I have to wave to Noah as he floats past.
As it is we seem to be overtaken by a foreign culture no matter what direction you look in!!!!You'll probably be waving to a certain foreign culture as they "march" past, in any near future Apocalypse.
Pass the vinegar, Joe. Stil well, I hope?

The Anglo-Zanzibar War of 1896, the shortest war in history, lasted 38 minutes. British forces bombarded Zanzibar's Sultanate Palace after a new sultan tried to defy British colonial influence. The palace was set ablaze, the sultan's forces surrendered, and the British installed a pro-British sultan, ending the conflict almost as soon as it began. It is presently 13C in Oslo.
