Fallingwater attracted more than 143,000 visitors in 2024. It also attracts a lot of water. Rain and melting snow have been finding their way into walls that, although they appear to be solid stone, are really hollow masonry tubes. When the house was built, their cavities were filled with sandstone left over from construction. But that rubble has been settling for 90 years, leaving room for water to collect before dripping into the house, where it threatens to damage interior finishes, furniture and artworks.

For anyone who needs to know, those pressure pack cans of expanding foam can be used with stainless steel as it does not adhere to the stainless.
If anyone finds this useful or relevant, please, let m know and then I will have to delete it from this thread.
