I'm dazed and confused by the odd behavior of the day's trading numbers for a stock I have an interest in. Small to medium market cap.

The odd small trade I can understand, somebody clearing out a few crumbs, but this nonsense is typical of the last few days if not longer. Funny buggers for sure, but to what purpose?

Anyone care to comment what conclusions can be drawn?

As they are at the end of the day, could be the brokers just cleaning up their orders/balancing the books...

This can happen intra day however and could be auto trades or bots that execute large order for clients....... Barclays for instance have quantitative portfolio that trade on auto pilot and if they are looking to dump stock in an illiquid market, they may do it in small parcels.....

Cheers
